Very unfortunate that such hotel couldn’t do much to fix situation or improve experience . Went for weekend to attend an event , from arrival we were informed the second day water will be off all day. Without any consideration how we would shower or even use restrooms. Situation didn’t end by one day second night also water was shut off.
Had very high hopes for this hotel as we have been guests of St Regis across several locations. This was our first time to the Houston St Regis. Unfortunately we had several issues with the cleanliness of our room. From a dead roach on the floor to a prior occupants underwear left uncleaned in our hotel room (yes you read that correctly) to shampoo pumps not working to a light not functioning…. The deficits were unavoidable and saddening. In fairness, we did let the manager know about our issues and she was helpful in making sure the room was actually cleaned and offered us a partial credit - but my question remained how an alleged 4-5 star hotel could let such oversights occur and consider themselves a top hotel brand. Outside of this, our stay was average. The people were kind and the food was very good. It is unfortunate our visit was marred by the deficient state of our room. Hopefully these issues may be corrected - but I think this experience is worth sharing when considering where you stay (and spend your money) for your travels.
Was awesome the only complaint was I used the fast valet app and for some reason they didn’t get request but they were more than gracious about it. Lots of apology. I’d stay again
