What a delightful stay! I was in Tropical Cottages' waterfront property. My studio was spacious with a huge walk-in closet, and absolution gorgeous deck overlooking the water below...one of the prettiest views ever, especially at sunset. I saw manatees from my deck several times, what a treat. There is a nearby tiki bar restaurant which I paddled to from the unit one evening -- such fun. The double glass doors in the unit made it possible to see the swaying palm trees and water from inside as well--so beautiful! The studio is stylish, feels newly-updated, and had everything I needed for a long-term stay with the large fridge, coffeepot, microwave, and a few dishes. I liked walking on the little path from the unit to the grocery store, too...so convenient! I felt safe and secure in my unit. The bed was very comfortable, too!

It was a beautiful miniature cottage with a nice, fenced-in outdoor toilet and shower. The kitchen in the room was a bit small, but you won’t need anything larger, especially if you are only staying a few nights and eating out for most of them. I would definitely book this room again next time I am in Marathon. The large TV in the room also came with Netflix and other streaming services for free whenever you wanted to watch something.

Tropical Cottages was an amazing place to stay for our Anniversary week. The cottage was cleaned daily and none of our personal effects were touched. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially the Spanish lady at the reception. The bed was comfy, clean room, outdoor bathroom and shower was amazing. The only thing i didnt like was that they charge you extra $26 if you want to check in early. The bar prices here are cheaper than most bars in the area and the food truck/trailer food here is good quality.

The property atmosphere is very nice. The tiki bar area had some music playing but it was not too loud so I appreciated that. Conveniently located in the middle of Marathon and easy access off of US1. The only downside I saw was that there did not appear to be space to accommodate a boat or trailer should I decide to bring my boat with me on a future trip.
Interior was fresh and clean. A touch rustic but nice.
Outside area gave a sense of privacy with pathways and small patio for each cottage.
