I had specified in my reservation that I wanted a room in the main building, as the other building they have is very old and run-down. We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and they informed me that my room was in the building across the street. I told them that I had requested a room in the main building and they said that they DON'T READ the messages we post on the Hotels.com app. I was firm with them and "coincidentally" they had a room available. I had reserved a room with two queen beds. They gave me a room with one king bed and a sofa bed. They told me that this was a more expensive room but that because of the inconvenience, they wouldn't charge me the difference. They made me have a terrible time; there was no empathy from the employee, who simply said, "It's not possible, I'm sorry, we're full."

My room wasn’t properly cleaned. There was quite a bit of hair in the bathroom — including private hair on the floor — which made it feel like the space had been wiped down quickly but not thoroughly cleaned. The breakfast buffet was also extremely crowded, and the staff member serving seemed to give preference to certain guests. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes while others who arrived after me were served first. I later noticed those guests slipping her a tip as they left, even though there was no tip jar or any indication that tips were expected for faster service.
