I enjoy staying here when I'm in Southern Maryland. I feel safe, there is ample parking, many nearby stores and restaurants, rooms are very clean, and the staff is always kind. Shout out to William at the front desk for his great customer service!

The staff were very helpful. The hotel was booked the whole time we were there but they still helped us as quickly as possible. We were in the room ajouning the pool and there was a high pitched sound that would is up we had to wear ear plugs. Stayed 6 nights. They are renovating so that may account for it.

I switched to another Marriott

Needed handicap accessibility. No raised toilet, no shower seat. Preferably a walk in shower. Refrigerator inside door compartment was broke. It was too small to hold anything. Water kept rolling out and it wasn't very cold.

The hotel was good and our room was very spacious but we tried to get breakfast that morning and the lady at the counter was taking orders and had to make the food but she was new and was very honest with us that she didn't know how to make half the food and it would take longer than 30 mins (which we didn't have at the time), so we just left and got something along the way. Not sure why they put her in that position vs training her properly but that was disappointing as we were looking forward to grabbing breakfast there.

I waited 1 hour just to get checked in. There were ants crawling on the bed and a blood stain on the sheets. The conditions were so bad that my family had to leave the hotel, we could not sleep there. Worse experience ever!

After spending nearly $200 for one night I would expect a free breakfast. Nope. Not happening here. Also, a real bar where we could hang out and unwind at the end of the day. What they call a "bar" is a counter top with a few stools. When I stated that every hotel we've stayed at for 20 years offered free breakfast, the concierge seemed incredulous. We will not be staying with Courtyard Marriott again.
