Only complaint is that only one person staffed Luna cafe during busy breakfast time. Way too much to ask to do orders and payment, fancy coffee drinks and waiting tables. Not fair to them or guests.

The overall stay was fun due to location. Ashland is an amazing place to visit and even for locals, it has great things to do and much to see. The hotel seemed pretty old. I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. Went for one night and that was perfect. It’s off the freeway so easy access. Check in was easy. Property isn’t that clean but the room was clean. Beds were comfy. I liked that we got a balcony. If you want a balcony request one over the courtyard and not parking lot. I think they have rooms for long term tenants. Went to the business office to get coffee in the AM and there was none. I asked front desk if they had any and she said the night person didn’t put any on when they left. She didn’t offer to make any and told me to go to the cafe since that was open. Overall it was average.

Did not get building we asked for. Our room was pretty beat up. Clearly there had been water damage. A definite smell of mold in room. They took room out of service after we repoted smell. Offered no refund or reduced rate.

Overall, for the price, this was a good place to stay. It seemed like many of the units are rented out long term for housing, so that gave it a feel of a "cheap motel." My key was deactivated on the second night and the guy at the front desk did not check my ID, just asked me to verify my name.

The lobby and restaurant are attractive in a mid-century modern on steroids appearance. Our room was a frumpy cave in need of restoration. The pictures far exceeded the real thing. The staff were helpful.
