Very nice stay

Wonderful location to view the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Very nice hot breakfast including pancakes. Medora is a sweet little town.

Disappointed. Ice machine was out of order. Staff was less than friendly at check in. No hair dryer in the room but there was a sign that said hair dryer at front desk, please dial 0 and request it and front desk staff will bring it to your room. When I called, the front desk staff had no idea that is what is said and expected me to come get it. She was very defensive about this. Not to mention, I have stayed at a lot of hotels and never have I had to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. Even the economy hotels have it available in the room.

Very expensive for only fair location, well-meaning but inadequately trained staff, just okay room and amenities for the price, erratic WiFi that was often unavailable, standard motel self-serve breakfast with limited, marginal quality food - all for almost $300/night. Very disappointing.

Great location for doing anything in Medora and visiting the Teddy Roosevelt National Park. We loved the Rustic decor of the hotel. Was a little pricy for the room itself being a little dated & average, but if you want to be close to the park you'll love it.
