We came to Melbourne to take care of my mother-in-law and needed a place to stay. At check-in, The hotel clerks were delightful and gracious. They comped us a couple of free drinks at the bar, and a couple free breakfasts. the room was clean, comfortable and cool, if not a bit spartan. My wife and I stopped for a nightcap every evening, but no matter what time we came in, it seemed like they were closing in five minutes. We stayed for a week, and I never figured out what their practice was for refreshing our towel supply. It was weird. Soiled towels would be removed, but not replaced unless we asked. Water bottles, and coffee were not refreshed unless we asked. Valet parking was fantastic. The mini self serve shop at the front of the hotel was easy to use, although, if you’re buying alcohol, the process is complicated. The pool area was clean and well kept, and access to the beach was easy. Overall, a clean, comfortable place, with nice amenities, but a couple of peculiarities that took the shine off of what should’ve been a nice stay.

I LOVED it! I was there for a wedding reception amd brunch the following day. My room, with an ocean view, was wonderful. The staff were terrific, the food both at the reception and the restaurant was yummy. I highly recommend the New England Clam chowder with Old Bay Seasoning fries. I soo wish I could've stayed more than two nights!

I was there for a wedding. I live a mile away. I was just disappointed that my room didn't have any towels when I came in. Also, the next day wasn't cleaned up and some of the bathrooms and outside from the wedding. I also cut my foot on glass. When these things were mentioned to the desk, they were taken care of.

Needs more mature management

We were intentional about booking here because last year we all met in Florida and it was a fun place to eat and listen to live music. Everything was OK for the first couple of days but I always had the do not disturb sign on and had told the staff I did not need more towels or my garbage emptied or anything like that. They came in anyway took the dirty towels, did not replace a single washcloth or hand towel, and then my pajamas were missing. I told them about this after tearing my room apart looking for them. They called me when I was on my flight home to tell me they were found in a drawer in my room which is absolutely not where I had ever put them as I never used drawers in any hotel - ever. Additionally, I looked in those drawers repeatedly before I left. In my opinion the general manager there was immature regarding dealing with patrons, because he went on about how reliable the staff member was who returned the pajamas instead of believing me that I never ever put clothes in a drawer and know that I did not leave them in any drawer in the room because I had checked the drawers numerous times and found them empty! Totally ruined my experience and I would never ever go back.

In desperate need of a complete remodel..our toilet never flushed properly and overall the suite was in pretty bad shape..$40 a day for beach chairs and an umbrella is a bit extreme Hotel staff was very accommodating But highly unlikely i would stay again
