Clean and friendly, but very low quality.

We were greeted by an efficient and earnest staff member at the counter, both for check-in and check-out, but that's the best thing i can say about this hotel. We weren't expecting much, but we were still disappointed. Our front door had about a 1 inch space underneath directly to the outside, and when shut, would rattle every time another nearby door opened. We ended up rolling up a towel to block the opening, and pressing a chair against the door to stifle the movement. The AC unit was a little loud, but that wasn't an issue, until we realized it wasn't even cooling, just idling. Once it did turn on it sounded like a gas powered lawn mower. It did chill the room quite effectively, despite it's trivial condition. The bed was very firm, not unlike sleeping on a stack of cardboard. Visually it was nice and clean, and the bedding was actually soft. The rest of the room, including the bathroom, didnt have anything notably good nor bad about them. Despite appearing well used, the room was cleaned and tidied quite nicely. Overall, it was clean but uncomfortable and minorly unsettling given the state of the door and ac unit.
