The team at the hotel was incredibly helpful in finding a room for my elderly spouse (who cannot climb steps well) and me. The room was very well appointed and the location of the inn is great for visiting Monument Valley. Definitely stay here!

+Cowbwebs hanging from the lamp. The deck had holes in it as you could see through it. noisy as motorcycles came and went what seemed like all night. We had reserved a river view room , got into the room no river view, went back to the office and was asked " Did you touch any thing?"

The curtains had multiple holes and rips. Air conditioner did not work well, continued to go on and off ALL NIGHT.....not sure why. Had to keep shoes on to walk on carpet, needs not just a clean but a replacement. The ONLY positive thing is I did not see any bugs !!!!

It was about as expected. It's about the only place to stay in Mexican Hat, and was fine for a night. The steakhouse up the street was pretty good, and the cafe down the other way had a decent breakfast.

You are paying for location not room quality

Quite expensive for what you get. Room was ok and clean. Although we were on the ground floor and the room above us had really bad floor boards that creaked with every footstep they took, very annoying. Also the walls were quite thin and you could hear conversations next door. The AC units in our room And others were very noisy. You are very much in the middle of nowhere with just one real choice of where to eat unless you hit the petrol station. The staff at reception were lovely. Lovely view of the river.

The lobby was so dirty. The tree was loaded with dust and dirt, not a good first impression. It was very expensive and no breakfast included. Missing a second luggage rack or space to put one.

Great place! Nice clean room. Keurig coffee in room. Quiet location and comfortable bed. Lovely outdoor pool and hot tub with seating poolside. Picnic tables/seating available overlooking the river. No breakfast, and the attached restaurant was closed. Office is not staffed consistently. Overall a great experience.

Awesome and best place to stay in Mexican Hat. We stayed 3 nights in eary Oct 2025 to enjoy the surrounding areas. It was well with it. And the pool, albeit to warm, was awesome too. Plenty of comfortable chairs and beautiful views. We will definitely remember this place and stay again next time we're in the area.

Perfect paradise minutes away from Monument Valley

Much better than it has any right to be! They've really taken what could have been a run-down old motel that exists and makes money solely due to its proximity to Monument Valley and stepped it up several notches. The rooms are spacious and clean, modestly updated, and best of all, they have a large pool and spa (open 24hrs) that overlooks a river. They've put in outdoor lighting and a wonderful little community space down by the edge of the river with a small basic grill to have a quaint little cookout while taking in the scenery. There are gentle walking trails down to the river's edge if you want to head down there and during our trip we saw a half a dozen fresh animal tracks in the silt. So cool.
