Check-in was lackluster at best. The front desk attendant seemed uninterested in the customer service element of her duties. The room was not very well cleaned. The toilet/bathtub had hair/stains on it that I had to clean and disinfect myself. The refrigerator also needed to be wiped out, and the carpet didn't appear to be vacuumed. My partner & I joked about whether or not the bed had even been given clean sheets or just made up with the sheets from the last guest given how lazy it seemed the housekeeping staff are. And speaking of the housekeeping staff, it would be great if you remind them that check-out is 11am, and staring down guests who are still getting packed up at 10am in an attempt to rush them out of their room so they can half-ass their job isn't very polite. The cable is incredibly limited on channel choices compared to other hotels I've stayed in, which was a bummer for a couple of movies buffs who wanted to find something to watch as a nightcap. The breakfast was acceptable for a mid hotel like this one, but the owners need to make a policy that children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, as the dining room was full of unattended, overly boisterous kids who made a mess of the buffet and got rather rude with my partner when he wanted to make a waffle, which cut into their playtime with an extremely hot piece of kitchen equipment which should certainly not be left unattended for a child to walk up and use. We will stay elsewhere next time.
