FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF AIRPORT SHUTTLE. They do NOT have an Aloft airport shuttle with their own driver. Instead they give you a complimentary Uber ride. They fail to mention this in the description prior to booking and when checking in. The main reason I booked this hotel was for the location and shuttle service. My stay at this Aloft location was with my brother and we both had different flights leaving with substantial time apart from each other. When I went to the front desk early morning to request transport the lady told me it would be a ride with uber. I said that’s fine then when I explained my brother will also be needing one later at check out his flight is later. She told me no they only provide one ride per reservation. I told her that’s not specified anywhere in the details when booking and he is on my reservation. She didn’t offer any help and said we could leave together if we prefer. Pretty poor service. We have stayed at other Aloft locations that did actually have an airport shuttle bus running every 15 minutes and we had no issues or inconvenience taking it at separate times. Also my uber driver was rude, unhelpful and dropped me off at the wrong terminal when I kept insisting that was not the correct location. This is why I didn’t want to deal with an uber because I already know how difficult they can be and wanted only an airport shuttle the drivers know where to go and are employed with the hotel. So pointless to have stayed at this place honestly.

The service here was exceptional! All the workers were extremely professional and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Me and my aunt stayed there and I will definitely stay there again if I’m in the Miami area. ❤️❤️❤️

This hotel is NOT truly pet-friendly, and I want future guests to be aware of my experience. I called before making my reservation to ask about the pet fee for my small dog and was told it would be no more than $150 for the stay. That sounded reasonable. However, after driving four hours from Orlando to Miami, I arrived and was handed a pet policy stating that dogs cannot be left unattended in the room at any time, even for a short moment. This information was never disclosed over the phone, and it made my stay impossible. Some places don’t allow dogs, and I expected at least minimal flexibility. The staff refused to cancel my stay at the counter, so I had to drive all the way back to Orlando to find someone to take care of my dog and then return to Miami — meaning I lost my first night. I emailed the hotel manager, and she admitted there was miscommunication on their part, but still refused to refund the first night. Corporate apologized and sent me a gift card, but this situation should have never happened. Even worse, the manager at the front desk mentioned that leaving a dog in the room, even briefly, could be considered a violation and a potential reason to call Animal Control. That is extremely concerning. If you plan to travel with your dog, be aware that you cannot leave your dog in the room at any time — no exceptions. This hotel should not advertise itself as pet-friendly without clearly explaining their strict internal pet policy.

My room looked like it wasn’t suppose to be stayed in. The carpet was dirty the window panel wasn’t on you could see wood and the wet spots on the concrete very horrible to look at! I would not choose this property again! It gives Aloft a bad name
