We recently stayed at your hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was nice, and we especially appreciated how quiet the hotel was and how conveniently located it is to everything. We also enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool areas. However, there were a few issues during our stay that we wanted to bring to your attention: • The bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. I ended up unclogging it myself, and quite a bit of hair came out. • The shower dripped continuously. • We didn’t receive fresh towels or washcloths throughout our stay. Despite these issues, we would still consider staying here again because the overall environment and location were great. Thank you for your hospitality.

My daughter & I were in Miami for Swim Week as she was walking in a couple shows. At check-in we were informed that the rooftop pool area is for 21+ so my 17 year old daughter wasn’t allowed. I said I didn’t see that anywhere on the website, and it actually says “family friendly” & mentions 2 pools. She said the only pool we could use is at Maxine’s. When we went into our room, it looked nothing like any of the photos and there were bugs in the bathroom. We went right back down to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms and were told there were no other rooms available. She said she would send housekeeping up to see to the bugs while we went out to grab dinner. I don’t know if they ever came or not as we had bugs the whole trip! Fortunately we were busy with photo shoots & fashion shows so we weren’t in the room much, but if that would have been different I would have just tried going to a different hotel! Our room is nowhere in their photos- there were no windows, chairs or desk & it was tiny! I thought it looked like an old school Miami hotel & fun for a girls weekend, but not if you can’t even use the cool looking rooftop pool area, that’s their only amenity!

It was a nice hip hotel along the touristy area of Miami Beach. It seemed to be a combination of 2-3 hotel buildings and the main building you check in but they had me walk next door to the next building where the outside DJ was spinning dance music and the taco restaurant was filled with people. Little embarrassing to have to walk with your luggage, through the people eating their food, into double doors (which no one was there to greet/guide you or help open the doors. You end up in the restaurant kitchen area where elevators were (very odd). Looks a bit sketchy in the hallways but once in the room, it was a gorgeous room with cozy bed. I paid for early check in and larger room but I never received the larger room (same room size as my friends who was next door and didn’t upgrade ) but they still made me pay 60$ plus early check in rate online and they didn’t even see it on reservation. It’s a loud hotel so you’ll hear music day and night till restaurant closes. It’s definitely a vibe with rooftop bar and small pool area. Beach is a block away. Tacos were great but plenty of restaurants nats and shops walking distance

The Expedia service was terrible, from the trip to Houston to the change of one night at the Catalina. Will never use Expedia again, and understand friends, family and wife when they recommend to work directly with hotels. Horrible!

We arrived late at night and, due to how exhausted we were from traveling, we didn’t have the energy to raise concerns upon check-in. Our room was located in a separate building adjacent to the main lobby. Upon entering, we immediately noticed a strong smell of mold and a generally damp, musty atmosphere. It was evident that there were issues with humidity and poor air quality. As someone sensitive to mold, I felt uncomfortable and concerned about spending time in the room. Breathing the air inside was difficult, and I imagine it would be even more problematic for anyone with allergies or respiratory issues. Since we were only staying for a few nights and planned to use the room solely for sleeping, we decided to stay. However, each night was a challenge due to the poor air quality. Unfortunately, after the trip, I became ill and noticed that all of my belongings had absorbed the musty, damp smell, similar to that of a wet cabin. This raises serious concerns about the maintenance of the property and whether it meets acceptable health and safety standards. On a positive note, the hotel staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay. Their service was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience.
