View excellent 👌, my corner room was very big and clean. We liked this hotel; we usually don't return to the same places, but this hotel is worth coming back to! We don't like large hotels, but this one is truly impressive without being overwhelming.

Nice stay at the Diplomat. Pros: check in was great, breakfast was great. Room and bathroom was comfy and clean. Cons: The balcony needs to be cleaned and the chairs were rusty so couldn’t sit out there. Service at the poolside was very slow and when I tried to get a drink at the bar near the pool instead the attendant didnot acknowledge my presence and continued chit chatting to another customer for over 15 minutes. So I gave up eventually and went back to waiting for over 30 mins for a drink.

Beautiful hotel. Under reno, so there is noise on the beach and pool right now, but it is to make it better. I would have liked a 24 hour shop nearby, like a self serve shop even in the resort for when we arrived late am, to grab snacks and drinks. I think the restaurants should have their menus and hours easily visible online so we know what we are getting and when to go.

Well, 1 The pool on the first floor where closed at all time. 2 The over pass to access the parking lot across the Ocean Dr where closed permanently, so, if raining you get wet to go to your car. 3 The self parking charged $53 per day been hotel guess wish I think is ridiculous. So in general the experience wasn’t good, sorry

The service was good. Clean room and welcome stuff. But more than half of territory was on construction. And nobody warned about this. So they had only one pool open. However, they closed that one pool for 2 days in an row after noon for a private party. All we had it’s (thank you for understanding). It was disappointing.

5th thanksgiving trip in the last 7 years here. The construction was expected but only because of my own research and memory of being blindsided by it last fall. Didn’t bother us and the new main pool has been upgraded big time. Beach and pool time was great and can’t wait to see what the rest of the upgrades look like once complete. Service was mostly solid per usual and we will continue making this our regular thanksgiving spot. One ask, please bring back the oversized variety of donuts in the counterpoint. My 5 year old son talks about them all year and was devastated when they didn’t make them anymore after years of having them. The giant size makes them one of a kind and unique and makes the diplomat “the hotel with the giant donuts.”

The room and lobby were great - I wish we had known the bridge from the parking garage was closed - we had to cross 4 lanes of traffic on foot. In addition, the main pool was closed, the hot tub closed and not many outdoor dining options. The noise from construction was also very loud at times. We love the Diplomat and look forward to coming back when all amenities are available. We did get services from the spa and had a great experience there. Check in easy and food was good.
