My recent stay was disappointing. Check-in with Ceaser and the young woman was tense, with confusion despite showing proof of my booking on Expedia. I barely secured parking, received no breakfast, had only cold water for showers, and the TV displayed a harsh blue light. Our party of five was given noon checkout, except for me—I was told to leave earlier and return later to pick up the others, even though I was assured on Wednesday evening that a late checkout wouldn’t be an issue. Tyjuanna, who initially texted me, did not respond regarding the checkout confusion, and I never received my receipt. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

My recent stay at the Even Hotel in Miami was decent overall, but there were a few things that could be improved. Upon check-in, the guest agent, Cesar, wasn’t the most hospitable, his tone came across as a bit condescending when we asked for assistance. We were a party of five (one had checked in earlier) and requested rooms close to each other. While he did accommodate us, his attitude made the interaction less pleasant than it could have been. We ended up with three of us on one floor and two on another, which worked out fine in the end. The rooms themselves were very nice and well-kept. I especially liked the small workout area inside the room—a thoughtful touch for guests who like to stay active while traveling. However, the shower was a major disappointment. The water never got hot enough, and at one point, I ended up taking a cold shower. The shower controls were also confusing, and clearer instructions on how to use them would have helped. The hotel itself is beautiful, and I appreciated the convenience of the shuttle service. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the amenities, but they seemed inviting. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but the lack of warmth—both from the front desk and the water temperature—took away from what could have been a great experience. I’d rate my stay a 3 out of 5.

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff at the reception desk was professional and helpful as I watch her interact with a customer who had a reservation declined for lack of payment. I like to submit this request for the hotel to have complimentary bottle of water for each guest. Also Needed for transportation “a step stool” when getting into the Van for safety purposes. I have experienced this with other transportation companies having a need for it.

It is close to airport but is an older hotel somewhat updated but had that old smell. Did not feel safe area surrounding would never stay there again. Had I known prior to booking would not of booked. Very poor choice IMO

Airport shuttle - please note door numbers where shuttle will stop and not just dept level 2 - airport is large and while info in airport says several door numbers eg 5, 8-10 it does not state which hotel shuttles leave from which location. At 10pm at night I don’t want to miss the once every 1/2 hr ride. Requested wake up call which never happened so mad rush to get ready for morning flight. Rooms are OK. Maybe a free bottle of water in the fridge would make the stay more pleasant particularly as arriving late in the night. While water is dispensed on ground floor you are travelling with bags and don’t want to go back out after getting into your room (10.39-11.00pm). Convenient to airport.
