The hotel, property, and staff were really good. We arrived and they were really nice and accommodating towards us. The room was really spacious and bathroom was amazingly roomy as well. The main area for us was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep or even lounge on. I woke up sore and tired because we didnt get a sound sleep.

The property was very clean and located very close to the airport which was great. However, the hotel’s free shuttle service was awful. My husband and I waited for a half hour for the shuttle after calling the hotel to let them know that we arrived, only for the shuttle to see us and other people waiting for it, stop, and pull off. I called the hotel and wound up having to wait almost 30 more minutes. We had to call an Uber. Horrible shuttle service, but good hotel!

The property was close to the airport however there is a parking fee (plus taxes) which is ridiculous when the Hampton West offers free parking. Though there was a sign at check in which wasn’t noticed, the check in person never advised us of the parking fee which nearly got my rental towed. The focus at check-in is getting a room and not reading signs also no one reads the signs in the elevator the focus is getting to and from your room. Expedia need to show the small print like parking fees which was not noted on my receipt or booking. If I had known I would have booked an alternative hotel. The lady my friends spoke to after we found out about the fee, could have acted better. She was a bit spicy for our liking. Also the hotel disables all keys at 11 am which means you have to re-key your card, no one advised us we only found out when we tried to gain access to our rooms late one night. This was a first I have experienced this madness.
