I paid almost 1,000 dollars for two nights and they gave me an old HANDY CAP room which I am not handy cap. I made reservations on line. Guys outside that open the doors for us and get our luggage they were all in their phones not doing anything. I had to carry my two big luggage’s by myself. I don’t recommend this hotel for this kind of money

Loud construction next door all week long. Smaller pool was closed most of the week. Once it opened, it was closed for a reception, then a wedding! There was a charge for Cabana rental at the pool/$98/day! Really??? And umbrellas at their PRIVATE beach! $25/day! Like at a public beach! Housekeeping didn’t speak English so couldn’t follow instructions.the hotel was kept so cold you could make ice in the public areas! We asked for an extra blanket and asked for the bed to be MADE with it. Each day, it was rolled up alongside the bed🙄 The rooms are not soundproof and you have NO privacy on the balcony. No pen or pad of paper in the room. Front desk staff are not in uniforms and some don’t even wear name tags. Concierge is pretty useless. He just hands you a piece of paper with restaurants on it and public transportation info. Doesn’t know anything that’s going on. Refers you to a website! The sliding glass door and entry door, and shower tile in our room was REALLY OLD! The vanity and sink fixtures were dated, and the bed was not feeling new, firm and comfy. It’s hard to believe this is a Hilton let alone a RENOVATED property! The only good thing I can say is that the view of the ocean from our room and balcony was gorgeous! It just wasn’t relaxing at all due to the extremely loud construction going on next door! The room was not pretty either. Not up to Hilton standards. I will not be back nor would I recommend it. Auburn/ front desk and evening bartender were awesome!

The oceanfront room was amazing. The beach access and chairs are great - though $150 for the cabana rental was a bit steep. There were a lot of renovations going…the pools were closed along with the outdoor bar. The grinding of the concrete was very loud. If this wasn’t going, it would have been a 5 star experience.

Place is updated but clearly old and not easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Only one elevator was working so long waits and we waited hours before our room was ready but that was our fault because or flight was early. Ordered breakfast and coffee cream was turned. Beach access was nice and chairs welcome although they have covered tents over front chairs that blocks views. Our room was on 3 floor pool deck but door wouldn’t open. Texted desk thru app and they said they would send someone up but never did. All in all - they are trying but I wouldn’t book here again.

Upon arrival, we did not get the room we reserved months ago. Only one elevator worked, making wait times 15 mins to go up and down from your room. Wait times for beach service for merely 1 beer took 50 minutes. A mocktail is almost $30. I have been staying at different hotels around Miami Beach and would definitely NOT recommend the Hilton Cabana.

There was construction going on daily to the property next to ours from 8a-5p. When I say next to us, I mean 50ft from our balcony. The property was overbooked and they only had one working elevator the whole six days we stayed. Because of this, it required guests to take the emergency stairwell several times a day up and down many flights of stairs. I could go on but hopefully you get the idea. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties over the years and this one falls far below their usually high standards. There are plenty of better options on Collins Ave at the same price point.

Got the junior suite with ocean view. Excellent view! Pros: The beach is the backyard. Room had two bathrooms, mini fridge, coffee maker, two large tv’s. Housekeeping was always accessible if needed extra towels or toiletries. Hotel has convenience shop with snacks and necessities and shareable microwave. Can leave luggage with front desk if you arrive before check in. Easy to get Lyft ride to and from hotel. I recommend catching a Lyft to Little Havana. Free street trolley stops in front of hotel will go all the way to south beach or Lincoln Road Mall. Restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on site. Front desk provided great recommendations for sight seeing and excursions. Walgreens in walking distance. Front desk keeps complimentary first aid supplies. Hotel is located away from all the noise of spring breakers. Cons: Construction in hotel next door. Shower was black in the cracks in the floor tiles. (Wear shower shoes) Hotel doesn’t provide airport shuttle. Not many good restaurants in walking distance.
