The location was fine but the room smelled terrible. We mentioned this several times and the sink wouldn't drain - also mentioned. Room was either musty or moldy - AC very loud.. DO NOT STAY!

This property is definitely going to be my go-to for Miami trips! It is a 20 minute Uber away from the Miami night life and this place has a private beach. They have a restaurant and bar. The service was impeccable by the staff who worked in the restaurant/bar area. I couldn’t say enough about them. I highly recommend getting breakfast when you book through Expedia. The rooftop breakfast with ocean views are heavenly. The only issue I have with this hotel is that there is a charge for every single little thing and the one gentleman in reception has a very nasty attitude regardless of how kind I was being. I’m not going to let him ruin my vacation because everyone else was super sweet and accommodating. With that being said, this will always be my getaway stay in Miami! You NEED to visit!

Hotel was very nice, boutique style hotel. Direct access to beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient self serv parking for a fee. ALTHOUGH HOTEL WAS CLEAN. BUT OUR ROOM SMELLED LIKE MOLD. ONE ELEVATOR WAS WORKING, STAFF AND GUEST HAD TO USE SAME ELEVATOR. Pool was NOT heated.

We had a great 3-night stay at the MB Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The location couldn’t be better, right on Miami Beach. A quick walk from the pool area leads you straight to the sand, and there's a lovely walkway along the beach for a nice stroll. The hotel has a fantastic pool with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of sun, with some shade available too. The Kalypso Beach restaurant and bar on the first floor offered excellent food and drinks, along with great service. The optional rooftop breakfast was also a highlight. The views from our balcony were stunning and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We’d love to return and highly recommend it to anyone!

Unhealthy Conditions & Poor Management

My stay was disappointing due to severe air quality issues. The first two rooms had a strong mold and humidity smell, and the third, while slightly better, left my pajamas soaked overnight. The rooms lack air circulation, and the windows don’t open, making it hard to breathe—especially for someone with asthma. When I requested a room with an opening window, I was first told none were available. After Expedia intervened, they suddenly had one—for an extra $100. This dishonesty and lack of flexibility from the manager were frustrating. Despite the staff’s efforts, the conditions were unhealthy and unacceptable. I have no idea how this hotel gets such high reviews. Would not recommend.

This is a small hotel in a great area. The pool, restaurant and beach are fabulous. The beds are very comfortable and shower pressure is great. However, the rooms have no carpet and the floor is cold. Housekeeping cleans if you leave a sign for them outside your door, but the sand was still on my floor and the only thing done in the bathroom was changing the towels. The front staff, especially Diago, is wonderful. They are accommodating and are committed to the guest experience.
