We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights for a quick, mummy getaway trip. The room smelt old and musty even after spraying the entire thing with Lysol, we continuously got the smell everytime we left from morning and returned in the night. The AC was too cold and they had signs not to switch off or adjust so while in the room we had to keep the door wide open for heat. The lighting in the room was terrible as there were only 2 lamps which had one bulb each. The bathroom area was well lighted. Bathroom, toilet and bedsheets had little hairs, I suggest your housekeeping wear hairnets. This hotel houses people who live there, mainly on the 3rd floor. They can be noisy late hours of the night and they lime in groups on the corridors and smoke weed. This hotel also seems to be a nesting ground for people who just did BBLs and recovering. While chilling by the pool we noticed 5 women with blood bags attached to their butts and bellies in visible eyesight of the public. I’m not sure if this is a common thing in Miami but it’s very uncomfortable for tourists especially with young children to witness. My credit card was also compromised after presenting to the front desk clerk while checking in and had to be blocked and closed which was an inconvenience to me as I am from a Caribbean island and was without a card for the entire duration of my stay. The breakfast was the same everyday, no protein, need a hot water station for persons who don’t drink coffee.

Hi I had a terrible experience at the Quality Inn - Doral. It started by not being picked up at the airport, despite informing the hotel my arrival time. I waited 3 hours in the FL heat and ended up paying $45 USD when I specifically booked a hotel with free airport shuttle service since it was my first time travelling to Miami alone. On arriving to the hotel, the receptionist barely spoke English and she just lamented ok when I told her about the pick up. On arriving to my room- the bed sheet was soiled with blood. I asked for a room change, again not understanding English she gave me a new room key and refused to leave my original room key with me to get my stuff out. After 4 trips up and down the elevator and trying to explain to her I needed my stuff out to transfer rooms - she eventually spoke to another guest who explained to her in Spanish on seeing my frustration. The next morning I noticed the shower did not work and asked for reception to check it on returning in the evening. She indicated she would send someone I waited till 9pm and no one came and I had to wait until tomorrow. I requested a room change and the next room was flooded with water from a leaking AC. This was after 9pm and I was too tired to do another change and left the next morning having to deal with the smell of waterlogged floors. I did not have a restful or enjoyable stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not clean at all. We received our room number along with the room key, and immediately had to request another rooom due to bugs in the original room assigned. Both rooms also had a smell to them. I would not recommend staying here.

Room need cleanliness and pest control for ROACHES. One crawled into my ear; just remembered the pain I felt that woke me up gives me anxiety. I could end at the Hospital ; luckily the roach decided to back up out of my ear and ended the enormous pressure and pain. I had to take pain killers for 3 days but still with some discomfort. I have an appointment at my doctors to double check everything is okay.

Low Quality Hotel!

The road to the front of the hotel was complicated and not clear. The front door of our room was hard to open. Bathroom faucet didn't work properly. There was water on the floor next to our bed when we got up in the morning! Police came banging on the door of the room next door in the middle of the night!
