Absolutely LOVE the recent upgrades! No more old smell for sure. The rooms are very nice. Beds are a little hard but decent. I was excited about our balcony view but was only able to see halfway due to a huge wall blocking the view. Room was clean. Bathroom is nice. Shower door a little tricky to close but the water felt nice & hot! We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Shrimp Boat located in the hotel. Delicious. Service was good.

Probably the nicest hotel in West Texas.

This is Odessa, so I probably should have given it five stars across the board. They are trying hard to be an upscale place. It is clean, the bed is comfortable, the room is in good condition as is the entire hotel, and the staff was great. I really have nothing to complain about.

If you’re headed to Odessa and want a stay that feels fresh yet nostalgic, this is the spot! 🛎️✨ The rooms are newly renovated — super comfy, clean, and modern — but the rest of the hotel is like stepping back in time in the best way. Think retro charm, friendly vibes, and a little West Texas personality. And don’t even think about skipping the on-site restaurant: The Shrimp Boat. 🦐⛵️ Absolutely delicious, with prices that’ll make you smile. We loved every bite and were blown away by how affordable it was. Oh, and the pool & hot tub area? Total hidden gem 🏊 💎🌳 Beautifully landscaped with big established trees, plenty of towels, a cute fire pit by the poolside for evening hangs, plus life vests and even some community pool toys for the kids (or kids at heart). Such a fun, relaxing vibe. So if you’re looking for a little sparkle in Odessa without breaking the bank, this hotel + The Shrimp Boat combo is chef’s kiss. 👌✨

Great hotel with friendly staff and conveniently located. The only draw back is the loudness of the roadway (loop 338). Unfortunately you can hear all things traffic if your room is on this side. Not bothersome during the day, but at night its constant We kept the fan on to try to muffle the noise, but it wasnt enough.Next time we will request poolside room for quiet peaceful sleep.

The hotel was dirty and the room I seen on the pictures was way better than the room I got..dirty bathroom and mold smell in the hallways.. coffee shop was closed the whole time and the t.v was super slow.

After more than 10 hrs of driving, a good shower was in order. Water pressure was great and massaging head great but soon was standing in the water. Drain was plugged or extremely slow. Called front desk after deleting 9 messages on room phone. Told we would be moved to another room. We were packed heavy as this was 3 weeks on the road. Room had an empty adjoining room but still had to pack up and move. Would have been much easier just to open the other door. Would have been nice if someone could have helped us move but not the case. Very nice rooms and hotel but expected a little more courtesy.
