This property was a wonderful discovery in a hectic vacation town. When weather was bad, the indoor/outdoor pool was terrific. The hot tub was very relaxing at night. Nice complementary breakfast. We loved the Northwoods atmosphere and comfortable room.

Just a quick overnight stay while visiting family in the area. It felt like we were in a big log cabin - loved that! Rooms were clean and very large! Great if you had kids (which we did not). Breakfast was a lot of donuts, muffins and fresh make-your-own waffles - nothing too healthy. Front desk staff is hard to find in the morning due to breakfast. Just had to leave my key on the counter as I waited 20 minutes and no one came. But overall a great place to stay and would be even better for those with kids.

Room floor dirty

Our room floor was not clean. Sand or dirt was on the floor but we didn’t notice it until we took our shoes and socks off the night of our stay. We asked for a late check out the morning we were leaving. The receptionist informed us that they were not granting late check out “that day”. We have traveled a lot and have never been denied a late check out. Unacceptable.

We have stayed at The Waters multiple times before and enjoyed it but this time the rooms had been renovated beautifully and the hallways smelled clean throughout our stay. We were pleased!!

Waters of Minoqua is a little overrated, the rooms are ok. Our beds were so soft to the point it was hard to sleep, time for new mattresses and not just toppers. The most disappointing area was the pool area, it was so hot with little ventilation that the chlorine made your eyes burn and got a massive headache, something isn’t right and we couldn’t open any doors or windows to help. We ordered food from the restaurant which was less than desirable. I wouldn’t really recommend the Waters to anyone honestly.

This facility is odd. No phones in the rooms, very short handed, almost like a self service facility. The staff was very nice, just very few of them. NO daily service to your room, its walk to the front desk and ask. Rooms are beautiful but it seems like ownership has no interest in running the place like a real hotel of this caliber should be. The pool(s) are huge, but run down. The whole place has a niceness about it with no direction. Needs new management.
