4 chairs and 2 umbrellas are set up on the beach. Just ask the attendant for the My Beach Alibi setup! Available only from March 1 to October 31.

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a starter amenity pack of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponges, coffee packs, and laundry detergent pods. Once the initial amenities are depleted, guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund when bookings are cancelled 60 days (or more) before the start of the stay. Bookings canceled between 59 and 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking; otherwise, the reservation is subject to cancellation.

The Beyond Blue Difference: Our vacation homes are maintained above and beyond industry standards to remove any worry and make your stay with us an ideal, memorable vacation. Each home is professionally cleaned, services verified, and inspected before each guest's arrival. Our guest service team is available 7 days a week to help you before and during your stay.

Beautiful Home & Great Location for a Family Vacation

In June 2025, we stayed at My Beach Alibi through Beyond Blue Vacations. The home has an excellent design from the open family and dining room to the kitchen. The 4 bedrooms worked perfectly for my wife and me, our daughter’s family of 4, and our son’s family of 6. We especially loved the outdoor area which included a covered deck, sunbathing space, and an awesome pool with a water feature. The grandkids and others really enjoyed the pool time as some are not ocean people in terms of getting in the Gulf.The only negative comment is we had an AC issue for the entire stay, which comprised of an irritating intermittent squeal from the interior AC unit loud enough to disrupt the sleeping at night and the 2nd floor was reaching 75-76 degrees. However, over a few days I worked with Beyond Blue and they provided 2 portable AC units and a fan to supplement the fans we had. I must state that conversations with 5 separate Beyond Blue people, including 2 maintenance technicians in person, were nothing less than professional. They did listen sincerely and made every effort to address our concerns and needs to make the stay a positive one. Additionally, they did provide a partial but sizable monetary refund, which was greatly appreciated!The bottom line is even with the AC issue it was a great family vacation. Would we stay at My Beach Alibi again? Definitely…yes! [This assumes the AC will be fixed. :)] Also, would we rent through Beyond Blue a third time? Yes!

My Beach Alibi June 14-21, 2025

The house was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and the house was furnished well. It matched, or exceeded the description and expectations. The location was fantastic. Beach access was a very short walk. Chair and umbrella setup was ready early each morning and plenty of additional beach chairs were available. Shopping and dining was also easily accessible, some within walking distance.

Great Property! Very Quiet

Nice home, well equipped and everything was very clean. Enjoyed the deck and outside area. We had a couple of minor maintenance hiccups but they were addressed immediately. The beach service was not very accommodating. We had to call 2 different days to get service set up and then the guy told us to find something open.

Beautiful and convenient

The house was absolutely gorgeous! The pictures didn’t do it justice. It was bigger in person and just so beautiful. The short walk to the beach, grocery store and shopping centers was the icing on the cake. The host was amazing. We originally didn’t have the pool heated and when I called to have it done they sent someone right away and it heated up instantly.

Great house and awesome beach access

The house was very nice and the location to the beach was even better than in the image. You walk directly onto the beach from the neighborhood. It was beautiful and we loved having the chair setup and umbrellas. It was great to have the beach toys & extra chairs. Also, the pool was wonderful! We were a little disappointed that there were no spices/seasonings. It would be nice if they leave things like salt & pepper for other guests instead of having to buy everything. But, it was a great place and we really did enjoy the house!

My family enjoyed a beautiful week at the beach. The property is beautifully decorated. We were disappointed that a starter kit was given with regards to dish soap, toilet paper, paper towel. We were a party of 9 and 2 rolls of TP and a mini dish soap would not last the week. There were not any spices or basic necessities provided. We had a fabulous time but have had this provided at all other VRBO stays. I would stay at this property again.

Every year I take my kids and grandkids for our annual family vacation. We chose My Beach Alibi on Miramar Beach this year. Best decision ever! Plenty of space for everyone. Impeccable decor! The location is excellent! The pool, the deck, the layout of the house, and the only TWO minute walk to the beach! Literally surrounded by tons of things to do and see! We already tried to book it for next year but it’s full. 😓. We will always keep this house at the top of our greatest destinations yet!!! Thank you for everything!!

My Beach Alibi

We loved this house! Gorgeous home which is steps away from the beach. Our family loved the pool after a long day on the beach. Loved being able to walk down the beach to the Surf Hut for a drink or a quick meal. So happy we stayed here and look forward to our return next year.

This home was by far my most favorite rental ever!! So well decorated, very clean, communication was fantastic!! This place was wonderful! The amount of bathrooms was perfect for our big group. They beds and bedding were super comfortable. Would definitely love to stay here again.

miramar beach vacation

We really had a very good vacation and stay at "my beach alibi". The house was very nice and spacious. The pool was warm and the kids love it so much. The house was steps away from the beach. One thing we didnt really like is that there are small cockroaches in the rooms and bathrooms upstairs. Hopefully something can be done about that. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Beach Getaway

I would definitely rent from here again. We had more then enough room for 14 people and the beach was closer then we thought with only a 2 minute walk. Not big issues but we didn’t have hot water for a night but they sent someone asap to fix and we did find something under furniture that could have been cleaned up but other then that this place was better then we expected!

Family Beach VACA

This property was exactly what you see in the pics and more. Plenty of room for everyone! The private pool was nice at the end of the day to relax and have family time around. The home was also stocked with beach chairs, floats ect which was awesome! Also comes with 2 beach setups. So nice to walk down and they're set up and ready to go! Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs and a ready to use outdoor grill! The walk to the beach is very easy and less than 200 steps.

Family Vacation

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Check in was easy and early access to house was available. Walk to beach is 2-3 minutes, with only a private drive to cross, which was perfect for our 3 and 5 year olds. Beach chairs and umbrellas set up were wonderful, along with additional unbrella and toys available at the house. House was well stocked and beds comfortable; however, we couldn't find bedding for the trundles and there were no blankets (sheets and thin bedspreads only). Also, not enough bath towels - we just washed them often. Management responded quickly to maintenance issue - we had no hot water and a few outlets in one bedroom not working upon arrival. We called the next morning and repair personnel responded within a couple hours. Earlier reviews mentioned a vehicle being housed in the garage. This was not the case for us. We could have parked 2 cars in the garage, but couldn't get one of the garage doors to raise. Three mini vans fit on the parking pad and additional parking is available inside the secured community at the front gate. We were unable to obtain pool dimensions from management, prior to arrival. This was frustrating, as pool size was very important to our 10 and 12 year olds. We have stayed at another Shipwatch property in the past and were aware that some of the homes have more of a wading pool versus a swiming pool. I was pleased to discover, upon arrival, the pool at My Alibi is approximately 4 feet deep and measured 9 feet by 18 feet. This more than satisfied all of our children from ages 3 - 12. It would have relieved stress could we have received this information earlier, seems insignificant unless you're 10. We reported a pipe issue that wasn't huge to us, but hopefully will be addressed for future stays. Occassionally, the pipes make an annoying high pitched "screech" when flushing toilets, taking showers, etc. It didn't impact our stay, but we reported for future maintenance. It was a fantastic property in a great location, close to grocery, shopping, and resturants, but not in the middle of the heavy Destin congestion. This is our favorite community and would gladly rent My Alibi again. Evenso, I wanted to leave an honest review that included a few points that managment may want to consider to make the property even better!

Family Beach Vacation

We Loved my beach alibi, just steps from the beach, and big enough for 17 members of my family. We did a lot of cooking so we appreciated the nice kitchen. Having 2 refrigerators was a plus. We had an amazing time. Would recommend
