Absolutely Appalling Experience – Never Again with Embassy Suites I am shocked and deeply disappointed by the treatment I received at this property – without question, the worst hotel check-in experience I’ve ever had. We were traveling with a toddler, exhausted from the road, and arrived just a couple of hours before the standard check-in time. Hoping for a little compassion and understanding, I asked for an early check-in. Instead, I was coldly told I had to pay extra—no flexibility, no hospitality, just a flat fee to get into the room a bit early. And here’s where it gets worse. Just 30 minutes later, I returned to the front desk to ask for beach towels, and I watched in disbelief as another group of guests—white guests—were welcomed and checked in early with no extra charge at all. No fee, no issue. Just a smile and a key. The contrast in treatment was glaring and humiliating, and I can’t help but feel that our family was treated differently because of the color of our skin. It was dehumanizing. Disgraceful. And absolutely unacceptable for a brand like Hilton to allow this kind of discriminatory practice to go unchecked. But that wasn’t even the end of our misery. The room was in terrible condition: • The thermostat was ancient, and the air conditioning barely worked in the Florida heat. • The fan made a loud, constant rattling noise, keeping us up at night. • The couch was stained and visibly dirty, making it feel unsanitary and neglected.

Property had everything we needed for a beach vacation! Easy access to the beach, beach towels provided. Complimentary bar drinks, lovely morning breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. The only suggestion I could make would be a little more flexibility from beach chair rental company. One could only purchase 2 chairs and umbrella for $45 a day. A single chair was listed for $15 a day but could not be purchased individually. Otherwise, great stay! Would recommend and come back!

Embassy Suites is my go to hotels when traveling domestically. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Walking distance from the beach. My only issue is that one of the elevators was inoperable my entire stay.

Private beach access just across the street was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly except for the night staff for one of our nights when we called down to request additional linens - rep was just extremely short with us so we went down to the desk to get what we needed and were given major attitude. The rooms could most definitely use some updating - common space is clean and white (chairs/seating in dining pretty rough looking/torn up) but again the rooms are way out dated. The grout in the bathroom was pink/black when it was surely meant to be white/tan. The breakfast was pretty basic - potatoes, pancakes & a meat (bacon/sausage) were definitely frozen foods - not really anything fresh except for the made to order omelettes but it served its purpose with allowing us with one less meal to have to buy. Again super convenient location - hoping some room updates come in the future because we would stay again.

The beach is across the street with a private entrance for hotel guests. There were many selections for breakfast. The area is very safe.
