First of all this is not a hotel or a resort. This is a room in a condominium where you go to clean your dishes, throw your trash, clean your room. You can do all these things in your residence, why to go to an exotic location to do this. They should stop advertising it as a resort. Most of the residences are owned by owners and you are just a guest like a bed and breakfast but much worse. There was only one socket to charge my phone and that too inside a furniture so you have to bend down on ground to plug it in. They don’t replace towels or clean the room even though I stayed for 5 days. The room is so outdated. You should go there only if you plan to carry your golf swings and play in their so called resort. It is just a retirement home for people.

One of my favorite places to stay when in Destin. My previous two visits weren’t the best due to construction and hot water issues but this last stay was just what I’ve always known it to be. Peaceful and beautiful. The new pool was amazing and so relaxing.

Overall, staying at Bayside at Sandestin was nice, but a few things were not in proper working order; the coffee maker, the towel holder in the bathroom, and the door handles leading out to the balcony needed tightening. The furniture in the main room could use a bit of sprucing up, the view was the best part.

Overpriced for what is offered. They do offer amenities but not what was needed being at the beach front location. The only assistance you get is at the front desk and not very helpful, you kind of need to figure out the rest on your own. The view from the room is the only thing that saved it from getting one star.

Surrounding property was beautiful. Riding their complimentary bikes was really fun. The condo’s furniture was very worn and shabby looking and bathroom needed updating. There was a couple times I tried calling the front office for information and it rang and rang without a response. This is a big property, depending where you’re staying the beach is too far to walk to.
