Good stay for four days during the Moab music Fest

We stayed at the Hyatt Pl., Moab for four nights during the Moab music festival. Our room was comfortable, had a great view, and was very well maintained. The breakfast included fresh fruit and juices, as well as hot breakfast entrées. We use the filtered water dispenser for our water jugs as we headed out for hikes and music events. We had dinner one night at their bar and the food was good but not great and the bartender attenti was divided amongst several tasks so Service was a bit slow. It’s our only complaint from on otherwise wonderful stay. We have stayed in a number of Moab ends and Hotels over the years, and our stay at the Hyatt Pl., Moab was among the best.

This property is nice, but small touches are showing their age. In the bathroom, the schluter edge on one side of the tub was coming away from the wall at the top (room 108]. The knob to turn the water from the tub spigot to shower head did not completely seal, so only half the water was diverted to the shower, resulting in poor water pressure. The bath still had a smaller step in tub, where as all of the other Hyatt Place Hotels I’ve stay in have a walk in shower. (A small note about those shower doors. They do not close properly because the shower base (pan) is neither level or plumb…which because of the front full width drain it can be,,the pan must slope down towards hr drain slightly. Your designer chose those doors for aesthetics, not form and function…if they understood basic construction they would have know the type of door where rails and tracks are affixed to a shower pan that is not level and plump will result indoors not closing all the way.
