Nice people. Room had 2 missing light bulbs over sink. The wired fire alarm on ceiling was missing.. just wires sticking out. Carpet old and smelled.

We read on the reviews that the pool is always out of order and when we got there it did look that way - like it was never coming back. My kids gave me the "catfished by a motel" merit badge because this hotel was much more outdated than it looks in the photos. We had a hard time getting the key to open the door (it looked like it could take a card but the desk person said for our particular "suite" we had to use an actual metal key). The room was on the second floor with no elevator which was hard for my parents who are 80 and 88 to climb the stairs. You could hear all the toilets flushing around us and all the showers. On the positive side, the people working at the desk were nice. The AC worked and there was a breakfast - mostly toast, bagels, juice. Overall, we wish we had stayed in the hotel next door which looked nicer.

The breakfast was horrible. Hard boiled eggs and yogurt, lots of bread item and cereal loaded with sugar. Yogurt with artificial sweetener. Yuck. I hope you can do better than that.

Our room was generally as advertised, however the air conditioning had not been run before we got there and the air conditioning unit did not seem to work. It probably never got below 80° in our room. The bathroom door didn’t lock and the shower curtain would not close all the way because the rod was separating from the wall. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient.

The pool wasn't working. Breakfast didn't include muffins or waffles as described on the website & it was at different times. The shower water went from lukewarm to scalding hot within minutes. Other than that, our stay was fine.

It was quiet is the only positive thing I can say. The bed was extremely hard and the desk chair looked like it had been through a fire. The sheets smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I paid for 2 queen beds but they gave us 2 full size beds instead. The pool was being renovated so we couldn't use it. Just all around a disappointment.
