Not worth the trip

There are so many other waterparks that are 500% better than this one for the same price. My 8 year old granddaughter wanted to leave after 2 hours. This park might be good for small babies and toddlers? Not bigger kids. All the vending machines were out of order. The restaurant was closed. There were hardly any people. We waited 15 minutes to pay to get in when it opened. The arcade was not air conditioned and was unbearable to stay in... Not a good experience. Go to a different waterpark. Would not go here again.

We just stayed there as part of a larger group for baseball in Tecumseh. The manager was and staff were awesome! All the kids loved the water park. Would gladly stay there again. John in Birmingham, MI

Waterpark passes are not included with stay, which is dumb, as that is not listed. Staff is unprofessional. My room which was 134 smelt horrible, the staff only came in and sprayed air freshener. Refrigerator in the room does not work. The shower gel in the shower was not filled. Hair in the tub. Breakfast bar was not served, although it's advertised. Vending machines in the Resort was down. So you couldn't buy snacks or drinks which is crazy.. The WaterPark was hotter than it was outside. Very slippery when trying to walk to different areas of the WaterPark. Lockers for the day was pricey.. be sure to pack drinks and snacks. They charge 2.00 for 50 cent chips and 3.00 for a can of pop. Arcade Room was horrible. No prizes were filled in most of the machines. Very dark & 100° in there. I don't know if their cooling system is down or what.. but $60/ticket for the WaterPark was not worth it.

What I didnt like was the fact expedia didnt explain that there was an additional fee to enter the water park. Imagine renting three rooms and having to pay $50 per person with a group of 12. You all need to put that on the site. The hotel was very accommodating but i was livid.

When we got there we didn’t realize the water park wasn’t included or offered a discount. No breakfast offered. Vending , ice and elevators were all out of order. Stood at the desk to have someone let us into pool area and for more towels. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Waterpark hotel which does not include waterpark

Waterpark hotel which does not include the waterpark or lifeguards or any employees. great place to go if you want to practice being a lifeguard since they are not there most of the time or on their cell phones when they are. Advertised as pool and waterpark included but was an additional $50 pp per day. Waterpark was closed whenever they felt like it and water was leaking from the ceilings. Food and drinks available from vending machine which I can only assume accepts Canadian dollars or some form of money from 1987. Terrible hotel, save yourself the trouble and just go to Great Wolf with actual employees.

Last time we visited the resort was in 2016. And you could tell the difference. Which shouldn’t be. Things should have improved over time yet it didn’t. The hotel is outdated. We had to move 3 times to get a standard room that met our expectations and they actually still didn’t meet our expectations but my daughter and I still had a blast and made the best of it. The morning of check out, i called to get a late check out and to get more towels but the phones were down. So instead of enjoying our room and the bed, i was forced to get up and go to the front desk. There was no complimentary breakfast. I even inquired and was told there would be coffee but by the morning, there was no coffee. The elevators weren't working and there was a leakage in the business center area. The bath tubs are rusted and the info you see on the phones to call the front desk are no longer attached to the phones. The staff was really nice and accommodating and we really enjoyed the manager Jerry. He was really nice and helpful, making sure our stay was pleasant. We walked to the Great Lakes restaurant and there food was excellent. My daughter enjoyed the water park and didn’t want to leave so we will back with her other siblings soon! Overall, we had an amazing stay and will go back.
