They say it's smoke-free but we were greeted by the strong smell of marijuana when going to our room. It didn't look like our room had been cleaned very well and found we long black hairs on the sheets of the bed. It was late and we were only staying for the night so I didn't complain to the front desk. The breakfast was good. The breakfast area was small and locked down, a room key was required to enter.

Think Twice

The room was semi-clean. There was a slight musty odor in the room. I was not 100% sure that the bed sheets were fresh. The siding for the shower was peeling from the wall. Overall, the space didn’t feel 100% clean and sanitary.

The elevator was down, but I very much so did like how we were told as soon as we got there. But the front staff was great and friendly but the housekeeping staff needs to do better. When we got into our room the was an eyelash on my floor, and the bed had at least 3 strands of hair in sheets , they didn’t replace our towels either.

I was refused check in due to my service animals not having a “certificate”. Those “service animals certificates” are fake and it is against the law to deny someone for having a service animal. I am a disabled veteran and it is also against the law to ask to see any type of certification stating they are a service animal (since those don’t exist unless they are fake) in Alabama.

Nice staff, but needs some maintenance.

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The elevator was out, and I was on the second floor, but I didn't mind the walk. Unfortunately, I was near the stairs door and had to hear it slam shut many times. There was a door that was left open on the side of the building leading to the stairs, which is a security risk. The air in the hall and in the room smelled bad. This hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, but I'm pretty sure there was some smoking going on.

The property was clean and we felt safe for our entire visit. Unlimited free, hot chocolate and juice was available in the dining area 24 hours a day. Ice was an inconvenient spot. And we didn’t hear a peep from any other guests. We will definitely be back.

The check in was so easy and the staff is lovely. The room was spotless and so spacious. The bed was very comfortable and I always appreciate a duvet over a bedspread. I loved that I could bring my pet for the most reasonable pet fee I have ever paid. She is a tiny cat, only 5 lbs. It was $10.00. I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was plentiful with several options. I felt this hotel was a great value and I will seek them out on roadtrips in the future. I am a 60 woman traveling alone and I felt very safe. I

Elevator broken

We got to the hotel and then found out the elevator was out of service. We have been traveling for 3 weeks and have large suitcases, our take out supper and backpacks to carry up. We were on the 3rd floor. I would not have booked there if I had known there was no elevator. That should been disclosed when making a reservation. A discount should be applied.
