Located at 825 South Uncompahgre. A small, cozy, cottage style home. Small, efficiency kitchen, roomy bathroom with large shower. Nice, at home bedroom with comfortable bed and linens. The living room has a TV with DVD player in it, a sofa with hide-a-bed, as well as other amenities for your comfort. Rose Haven Cottage is set up as though we were going to live there, and we want it to be as though you are a guest in our home.
We have WIFI internet for your convenience.

I met the housekeeper when I arrived, and it turned out that she had not been informed that there was going to be a guest (me) over the next few days. She was very sweet and apologetic. I went out to dinner with some friends, while she got the house ready for me.

Das Cottage war klein und sehr gemütlich. Es lag in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Lediglich die Ausstattung war etwas veraltet und könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ausgezeichnet.

We primarily used the cottage for sleeping and bath facilities. The owner was very responsive; it was quite clean. The one negative we had was the bed was extremely squeaky to the point only one of us could manage sleep in it. We were able to get linens for the sleeper sofa which helped, but not ideal,

Location is good. Said there was was laundry facilities and there isn't. Smelled like fabreeze covering up musty mold. Bed was super uncomfortable and felt like springs coming through. Sprinklers went off a couple mornings in a row spraying water in the front door. Cute little house.

A quaint quiet small cottage to stay at with amenities within walking distance. Unfortunately, it was hot 95 in Montrose while there requiring use of the window air conditioner which was noisy and struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.

4/5 – Simple, charming spot in MontroseMy wife and I recently stayed here and found it to be a simple, no-frills home base for exploring Montrose and the surrounding area. The small bedroom was comfortable thanks to the in-window AC unit—much appreciated during the warm days of our visit. The rest of the house did get a bit warm, but the space had a certain charm with its dated yet cozy touches.While the internet was a bit spotty and a few kitchen basics were missing (along with no laundry on-site, as advertised), the home still worked well for us as a place to rest after a day of activities. If you’re looking for a straightforward crash pad and don’t mind a few quirks, this could be just the ticket.

Cozy cottage for two

It was a perfect size for the two of us. It was nice to explore Black Canyon and have such a cozy place to come home to after a day of hiking. The town of Montrose was a pleasant surprise and the house was within walking distance of downtown. I would not miss the speakeasy in town. It was quite an experience.

Great little spot

The check in was a little confusing. Once I met the property manager the stay was fantastic. Very cute little place right in town. I’d definitely stay there again.
