Property was fine. Fit our family of five but was very old and kinda dirty. Beach was very messy and not great to hang out at (muddy and trashy with crazy levels of mosquitos at night). The firepits on the beach were cool but if anyone had a fire going, it meant the balcony was off limits unless you wanted to smell like smoke. I’d stay here again if I had to, but it was a bit too rundown and dirty for the price. The staff was great though and overall it felt safe. Just needs a refresh.

The rooms were clean and lake view suite with balcony had great view. 10 minutes walk to the nearest ferry dock to the Mackinac Island. Free shuttle to the ferry terminal is available upon request and hotel front desk person was helpful. We bought the ferry tickets from the hotel front desk. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Room was comfortable with nice view. Beach had litter that was finally cleaned after a couple of days. Balconies also need more cleaning -balcony surface was dirty and chairs had gnats plastered on them. Windows needed cleaning.

This was a great place to stay on the way to Mackinac Island. It was clean. The rooms are huge. We had balconies with chairs and a little table. The beach was a little untidy snd the hotel a little dated, but charming. Would stay there again.

I like how the rooms are set up. Great use of space. Right on the beach is a big plus. The bathroom vanity porcelin tiles are hanging and pulling away from the counter, the air vents look terrible snd dirty. It just a freshening up.

Okay room beautiful view

The view from our room was absolutely amazing — waking up to that scenery each morning was a highlight of our stay. The balcony was also a nice bonus, perfect for enjoying some quiet time or a cup of coffee. The room itself was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four, which we really appreciated. However, the room was definitely in need of updating. The furniture and decor felt quite dated, and unfortunately, there was a strong musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. It made the space feel less fresh and a bit uncomfortable at times. With some renovations and better ventilation, this could be a fantastic place to stay.
