The things we liked about Bask hotel:
The location was great. We could walk to get food and there were lots of choices. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the towels were nice and thick. The staff was very nice. There were cookies out in the afternoon for everyone to enjoy.
Things we didn't like:
Our first room had hair on the toilet and in the shower.The new room didn't cost as much but because we booked through someone else, we didn't get any money back. There is so much construction going on at the hotel that we didn't know about. The view from our balcony was fantastic but when we sat outside, all you can here is the construction. Our balcony door wouldn't lock. They said a team would be coming in to fix that in the future. Breakfast- every day they gave us a sheet of paper with the breakfast choices. I think there were four sections and you could pick one thing from each section. It was the same every single day. You could have a breakfast sandwich, cereal, different kinds of breads, a choice of drinks. You put what time you want it to be delivered to your room. They knock on the door and yell breakfast and they leave a brown box with your breakfast in it. The day we checked out, I had lemon bread and I took one bite and looked down. There was hair in my bread. We ended the same as we started. You are charged for parking and for use of the safe in your room. They take the safe off if you tell them you didn't use it.
