Check in was straightforward. First red flag was closed off areas, Lack of A/C in common areas, Pool was drained, very humid in common areas with dehumidifiers everywhere. When arriving to the room it smelled of mold and was warm. There were not many options in the area and assumed every room would be the same. Eventually found the source of the mold smell as well as a very dirty room with suspicious staining on the bed. Woke up after approximately two hours of sleep and very loud conversation in the hallway. The smell was just too strong and we packed up and left for our own health. There are multiple health violations as well as fire code violations in this hotel. Ie. No fire evacuation diagrams on the back of the doors as required by the state of North Carolina.

The rooms were nasty, hair in shower drain, ac off in lobby walking in no ac in hall way dehumidifier draining in our room from hall manager did not want to remove we had to ask him to. Trip hazzard. Holes in walls. Mold in shower. Could not see out window so nasty. AC could not cool room.furniture broken,floor nasty, flooring missing in room. Could not use shower so nasty. Did not feel comfortable staying there. Everything smelled musty and old. No microwave in our room. Mirrors were nasty they looked 80 yrs old no silver to reflect . Rusted hardware
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! No air conditioning in hallways smelt like mold! No plug ins on night stand so I attempted to slide the bed to reach the outlet behind the bed and the whole wall and back of the mattress was covered in black mold. We booked Friday night to Sunday but left Saturday because it was so bad.
Walked in to the lobby, waited 20 minutes to be checked in and waited another 10 minutes for us to receive our key card even though I did the online check-in for a “faster” experience. Upon walking into the room, it was an immediate realization that it was a terrible decision in booking this hotel.

Not much else to say, I would not recommend staying here.
This place is a dump. The minute I walked in it felt dirty. When I went to use the bathroom there was no shower curtains and the toilet seemed it had been used and poop seemed to have been sitting there for days. There is mold all over the bathroom walls. I originally booked for two nights but I was only brave enough to stay one. Don’t waste your money, it’s a horrible experience.
The Inn Was Not Advertised As In The Descriptions On The Website. No Breakfast, Only 2 Different Juices And Coffee Was Served In The Lobby. The Room Was NOT Clean What’s So Ever Had To Go And Purchase Cleaning Supplies To Make Me Feel Somewhat Comfortable. Pretty Much Every Window That Is Seen From Outside The Inn Was Ripped. Also Bugs Every Where. Highly Don’t Recommend This Days Inn.
