I’m from the area, I was married on the beach of Emerald Isle and come back to visit family often. We usually stay at the Islander but sadly they were booked. At check in we were met with “rules”. Just rules. Very unwelcoming. Tiny hotel, tiny pool, slow elevator, ice machine on the bottom floor only, no soap for hand washing, stains on the wall, and thin walls where we heard the tv and noise from the adjacent room all night to the point of no sleep. At check out there was nothing said from 3 hotel employees as I turned in our threatened parking pass as they said during check in “yes, we will charge you $25 for a piece of plastic if you don’t return it”. Don’t come here. It’s over priced, unwelcoming and not of the family values or Southern standards of other beautiful Emerald Isle stays that offer clean rooms, kindness, a good night’s rest, fun and life long memories.

The hotel is beautiful but do not get anything from Expedia. Expedia is a thief don’t provide you with phone numbers to get in touch with them to change your booking. I paid extra money to be anble to cancel and they took it as well and i couldn’t make changes to my booking trying over 2 days of anticipation.

Lighthouse Suites is a wonderful hotel option for Emerald Isle, NC. We had an enjoyable stay and got to know the hotel owner, front desk staff and room service. It felt like a home away from home. We definitely plan to come back.

July girls trip

This beautiful small hotel was just perfect for my daughter and myself for a short stay in Emerald Isle. It was exceptionally clean and had a perfect uncrowded pool, and a convenient breakfast on site. We would choose Lighthouse Suites again.

Great Hotel Steps to Beach

I absolutely love this property and I have since the day it opened. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Suites are awesome with doors between living and sleeping area. Great for early risers and night owls to watch tv! Easy walk to beach. Golf cart ride for convenience if needed. Love this place...can't say it enough.

Great hotel. Very clean, and it felt freshly redone. Breakfast options were good. Beach was walkable. The pool area could use an umbrella or two - it’s full sun most of the day.
