Didn’t like the heating unit,didn’t keep our room warm. The parking for our room number was in a corner,and had a hard time getting in, the toilet was only about 18’ off the floor,hard to get off,and no handrails in bathroom. Bad experience.

My family traveled to NM from Missouri and they had the absolute best experience. The woman I spoke with on the phone to inform that they would be there after reservation, was absolutely amazing! She was very sweet and respectful. Nice and accomodating. Thank you soo much!!

This is an excellent and charming little hotel, and a great value. Tucked away on the historic Route 66, has a lot of history. Very comfortable, nice folks at the front desk.

The staff were friendly and attentive. Opening the door to the room was like stepping back in time. Very clean. Retro decor and amenities added a special ambience to the A experience. Highly recommend staying at the Sunset Motel. Definitely plan to return.

Nostalgic pet friendly motel on Route 66!

This is a nice older motel on Route 66, the staff is excellent and the rooms are very clean. There is a great pet area outdoors for your fur babies. I would recommend this Sunset Motel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

It is an older motel. Everything was ok except the counter top space throughout. No bedside nightstands, I had pull over a chair to place my phone, flashlight, drink and food. There is very little desktop space too. In addition, very little counter space around the sink to place my travel bathroom pouch. It was very uncomfortable.

This is a motel. Expedia's 9.6 rating is ridiculous. If you want to stay in a motel on Old Route 66, go for it. Otherwise spend same $$ at Baymont or your favorite 3-4 star hotel.

Cute, cute property! There is a small courtyard where we enjoyed breakfast. The rooms were musty but clean. My family booked 3 rooms and it was a great meeting area for us all. We loved the sack "breakfast". We would definitely recommend
