My husband and I loved the retro room. It was clean, quiet and you have parking spot designated for your room which makes it super easy to carry your bags in to your room as it's right in front of it. The owner is so very kind and even made things right as my husband I messed up on the check in day when we booked ( it was for the next day ) and she took care of it and even gave me a pair of ear plus as I forgot to pack mine. Can't say enough about this motel from 1959... Cute rooms, cute landscape along with a bag with fruit and danish upon check in... A to go breakfast or after dinner snack.... We will be back... Many more times.

A little well done nostalgia for our trip.

Very well done nostalgic setting. Wish we had more leisure time to spend but we were in and out quickly. Would stay here again. I didn’t need them but they have EV chargers.

Cool little Rt 66 remnant in Moriarty NM. Pricing much better than Santa Fe, vintage building and grounds in decent shape, not fancy. Free baked goods and fruit for breakfast. I would stay here again cause it fits my style.

Nostalgic blast from the past

Like a blast from the past, 70's feel motel The beds was comfortable. Bathroom small, guess it was smaller back then. The vintage chairs needs new cushions, unknown it they where ever replaced The blinds are easily knocked off so be careful but they are easily put back on We had a muffin, bear claw and 2 oranges in our welcome bag. Just leave tbe key on the dresser and head on your way

"old" style motel with real keys. Very easy to find. No breakfast room, but you are handed a gift bag with breakfast to eat at your pleasure!! Bed was comfy, room was sparkling clean and well-furnished. Easy to recommend to those tired of cookie-cutter commercial motel chains!

I wish people would be more truthful on these reviews. When people say retro, what they mean is it's old. The staff was fine, but to be rated at a 9.1 is a big stretch. No ice machine exept when the office is open, the breakfast is nothing but a pastry from like a gas station and a piece of fruit. In our room there was a left over cup of soda in the refrigerator. I'm giving it a 3.5 because it was adequate for a one night stay, but nothing to write home about.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years, it’s always been a great choice.it was this time as well with only one exception. The water pressure for a bath or shower was vey poor. Never experienced this before so likely a unusual and one time problem
