When I arrived, my room door was already unlocked, which felt unsafe. I asked a housekeeper if the room had been cleaned, but due to a language barrier, I had to find someone else to confirm. Once inside, several things didn’t work—including the fridge, microwave, and TV, despite being plugged in. The toilet was visibly dirty, the bedding smelled unclean, and the room felt humid with barely functioning AC. I ended up buying my own cleaning supplies from Meijer and slept on top of a towel and blanket rather than using the bedding. Common areas weren’t any better—hallway lights flickered, the elevator reeked of smoke and had sticky stains all over the walls that were never cleaned. I didn’t try the breakfast, and parking was hard to find after 8pm. Overall, not a comfortable or sanitary experience.

We checked in and the desk top was busted so badly it was tilted sideways and unusable. As well as the back of the desk chair stained with something. No one mentioned anything to us that our room wouldn’t be up to normal standards paid $349 Canadian for one night.

Stayed here for one night while passing through (close to casino) which is why we stayed. Rate was great to just sleep a few hours and shower for planned trip. It was a older place but clean and bed comfortable.

I gave this hotel a higher rating because of the area it’s in. The hotel was overall an ok hotel just a little less clean than I would like but considering there is a college and a casino in town I’m sure the hotel gets a lot of wear and tear. It was in a good area if you wanted to go to the casino just down the street. Easy parking and access to the freeway. The staff was very nice. Free breakfast is always a nice bonus. I’m hoping this review will help someone decide on this hotel so I just wanted to mention that I’m rather fussy and easily put off by uncleanliness so for me to say this hotel is ok means it was rather good considering. I would stay here again
