The room reeked of old cigarette smoke with ancient cigarette burns on the edge of the tub. After we reported it, the staff said it had been a non-smoking room for 3 years. So gross. And I worry a bit about their digital security.

I stayed here while visiting family, we just needed a clean quiet place to stay. It was clean. It was not quiet at all, with many teenager teams of boys and or workers the second night. Drinking or chatting in the parking lot and opening and slamming doors repeatedly at night and again early in the morning. The front desk staff were great the first night in getting the kids settled. The second night the front desk person was not there a lot, tough to contact and was not interested really in helping guests or talking to guests. I did not get the room I paid and booked. I was early to check in. That did not seem to help or matter.

My parents and I stayed here while visiting family, we just needed a clean quiet place to stay. It was clean. It was not quiet at all, with many teenager teams of boys and or workers the second night. Drinking or chatting in the parking lot and opening and slamming doors repeatedly at night and again early in the morning. The front desk staff were great the first night in getting the kids settled. The second night, my bathroom fan would not turn off, the front desk person was out for a long time and then told me I could sleep on a Twin bed instead. Which was not okay to move my room at 10:30pm to a tiny bed. And then took a reservation call instead of helping me and BOOKED that room! I was lucky my father helped me get the fan switch to shut off.

Stay was interrupted by the manager barging into our room without knocking (sure glad we weren't in a compromised position) and guests using stairwells as their personal room to make calls (phone conversations could be heard).

Night clerk was very put out i was checking in at 12:30 a.m. He was even more put out when i asked for a different tv remote since the one provided wasnt working. I had called ahead asking if they had HBO, to which he replied yes, and then hung up. Turns out you need a wifi adapter or router to get hbo on their dish system. Same guy checked me out in the morning and he was rude then again. Must not like guests

Comfort, Kindness, and a Hot Breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at Quality Inn Mount Vernon! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we realized we had forgotten our chargers, the front desk went above and beyond by lending us one that had been left behind—such a thoughtful touch! We were also upgraded to a suite due to a double booking, and it made our stay even more comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast—it exceeded our expectations! There were hot waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and plenty of other options to satisfy everyone in the family. Overall, a great experience with excellent service. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Walmart across the street, IHOP, and fast food options. They were gracious about my grandchildren using the pool and provided towels. Fixed the hot water in the bathroom when needed. They allowed for our truck to be parked there.

Service rooms were open with bags of dirty linen and garbage lying in the hallway. The hallways carpets were dirty. We walked into a room with a random water puddle in the middle of the room. The washroom tub had mold stains at two spots. The coffee at breakfast was barely warm. Good things - the pool, hot tub and location
