I think he was the owner and he was very nice. But when we checked into our rooms, it was just kind of a rundown motel. Yes it was very old and It definitely needed updating. We did not feel comfortable staying there. so forfeited our hundred dollars and went and stayed at the holiday express.

The pictures for this place were misleading. The pool area was in a shed towards the back of the place and looked rundown. We did not stay there, we canceled and stayed somewhere else. The outside pool pictures were from the water pad at the diamond mines. We ended up at the queen diamond inn..

This was a last minute trip, on a holiday weekend, so we took the only room we could find. The lady at the desk was not friendly or very welcoming. The AC was unable to be turned below 74. The "indoor water park"... Well it made me wonder what constitutes a water park. The place seemed a little seedy and not the room you go back to for a comfortable nap. The towns people were very friendly and the local shops were great. The Diamond Mine, glad I did it, but just not for me. We had a wonderful trip all in all!! Make the best of what you got!

My son loved the i door waterpark. It is not the Holiday Inn! And I think $89 a night was steep. Our room would rate maybe 2 stars. Only a 3 restaurants. Terrys place (home cooking), sonic & Tellinga mexican food.

This property is outdated and run down. There was no grounded outlets to charge electronics, nowhere to hang clothing, no dresser to put anything in and the room smelled weird, almost like a stale smell. Did not have any housekeeping while there.

Great family friendly place. Felt like you were staying with Grandma and Grandpa. I love that a lot of things we're up cycled for fun attractions. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the BBQ area, that they provided charcoal for. Thank you for the comfy stay, we will see you in September.

The pool was not open when it says open till 9, they did not open the pool house. no plug for the bath tub, burnt out lights in bathroom, bathroom floors very slippery when wet, no breakfast neither even after it said it did on another site.

Paper thin walls, you could hear conversations from other rooms. Property itself looked like a junkyard, a bulldozer would be the best solution. Mold around the caulking in the bathtub.

This is a unique older little property. They look to be doing a remodel in some areas. It's not fancy. But If you are looking for a simple clean place to stay with your pet, this is it. Like I said it's older but I found it to be very clean and enjoyed our stay. Would rent here again.
