Okay for a night

I chose this motel as a last minute option on a work trip. It’s located by many restaurants and is affordable. The room was clean and very basic. Since the motel is on the main road, it’s very loud all night long. The bed was terrible. The mattress needs to be changed since it was worn out with little support. I didn’t get much sleep during my stay.

We got moved out of our first room because it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The second room was just plain dirty. I wasn't expecting much given the reviews, but it didn't even meet my low expectations. It is not a place I would ever stay again nor recommend.

Good place to stay

This is the third time in the past three years. Service is great, the remodeling looks nice. It is my go to place to stay in Grand Haven. Bed in this room was a little too soft. I like a firmer mattress.

One room was OK, the bathroom needed work. The second room had a strong smell of smoke, the mattress on one bed was sunken in in the middle and got a bug bite in the other. Overall the second room was horrible.

The room was small but clean. Ice machine close by. No breakfast (as advertised), the lobby had coffee but none available in the room. The room had a good shower. Lots of restaurants to drive to, not too far from hotel. We had a hard time finding the hotel at first because the tree blocked the sign. Visible in the other direction with no problem.
