The unit itself was ok. The view was great and the room itself was clean enough, but it was also very outdated. The air conditioner is VERY loud, I couldn’t sleep peacefully at night. I did see a huge cockroach in the bathroom as soon as I got out the shower on our last night, which ruined the rest of my stay, – I just couldn’t get comfortable after that. The building that the unit is in – The Patricia Grand, needs MAJOR upgrading and cleaning. The hallways on each floor are filthy – the carpet needs to be removed immediately. The elevators are slow and smelly – smelled like weed on some occasions. I wish I would have known ahead of time that this unit was in the Patricia Grand, I would NOT have booked it. Just read the online reviews of this “resort” for yourself. The pictures of the pool area are very deceiving.

Tom was great , property is dated . But we had a good time ! Parking garage..... lol , very glad I didn't drive my Raptor . Wife's small crossover barely fits . Overall great trip , good weather and lots of memories.

Fantastic Getaway

We had such a special trip. We celebrated my daughter's birthday with a trip to the beach. Everything we needed was here. We were able to cook our meals in the room and enjoyed dinners out within walking distance. Not a single complaint! Great stay and hoping to come back again!

We spent 3 nights. Took in the show at Legends which was awesome. The food at both Sole and Sea Captains delicious. Our accommodations were a bit small but the view was what mattered most - the ocean beyond words. Unfortunately the weather was poor with blustery winds so walking on the beach was limited for us. The Patricia Grand is a bit outdated and the parking garage SCARY!!! with 2 and 3 point moves necessary with caution.

Great Views - Building Dated

Pros: We loved the views from both balconies. We left one door open at night and were lulled to sleep with the sound of the waves. Can't say enough good things about the 14th floor view.. The room was clean. Beach chairs/towels/umbrella were thoughtful to have available. Because of the hurricane and our short duration we didn't get to use but would have. Full size fridge/oven and well stocked spices! . Cons: The building was very dated and the room could use updating. This wasn't a huge issue. Over use of air freshener when we first opened the room caused us to air out the suite the entire time we were there. (we turned A/C off). I think people are most pleased with no scent rather than too much scent. Parking is really scary. The aisles are very VERY narrow. You can see the marks on the walls. Try to park on the first floor if you can. Overall, we feel that the amazing view and ample space made this a great value for the price..

Was nervous about booking through Vrbo. Didn’t know what to expect since pictures can be deceiving but the room was exactly as pictured. Great size for a couple. Perfect view. Check in with Tom was a breeze!
