Bathroom sink had a crack that had been sealed with globs of caulking. The dried caulk had not been sanded down. No longer leaking but not a good look. Other than that, everything was fine.

The staff met our expectations. The hotel itself was good. However, the room reeked of musty smell. We went and bought air fresheners and dehumidifiers that couldn’t come close to changing the Oder. The room was so moist, everything was damp and sticky. We checked out a day early because my husband’s allergies were on overload.
Paper is peeling due to excess moisture
Wall has been cleaned probably from mildew?
Again, a cleaning solution had to remove something?

Specifically requested the room with the jetted tub to rest after the long drive. As soon as we got in the room, I started the tub and the jets did not work. Front desk basically just told u "sorry." The next morning, I opened the blackout shade to let the morning sun in and the shade completely fell from the roller. It had been broken previously due and was attempted to fix with duct tape (have pictures.) We called the front desk and they said someone would be by around noon-1 to fix it. We left the room to give them time and space to fix the shade. We got back around 2:30, and the shade was still in the floor where we left it. No one ever came by before we checked out to fix it. We had to use a blanket to block light from the parking lot at night.

This is a very nice property. Love that the renovation is completed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very safe area. Love the shopping opportunities and restaurants. The staff was very welcoming!

We had an overall good stay at the Hampton. Parking was easy, check-in was a breeze, and the staff was very friendly! However, the first room smelled horrible and had mold in it. The staff quickly switched our rooms and upgraded us to a deluxe suite, free of charge. That room was very clean and smelled great. The elevators and overall property appear to be older but have been renovated to some extent. The breakfast was above average and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch. Thank you.

Someone’s hair long black, on the inside of tub, on shower curtain, on floor. Right side of bed broken. Slept what I could have, on a slant informed front desk when checking out at 4 AM the gentleman wrote it down, but no one ever contacted me. Less than four hours sleep and I have to drive 10 hours home. The most horrific hotels stay I ever experienced.

My wife and I choose this hotel because it's in the northern part of Myrtle Beach, close to the beach, and with good restaurants nearby. The hotel has a good parking area, is clean, and has a mid-range level with good rooms. We selected a suite, but we didn’t know that it's located near the emergency stairs. Something happened: at 6 a.m. on Saturday, someone opened our room door. I woke up startled and asked loudly, "Who's there?" Since I couldn't see the door from my bed for being in a suite room, the person left and ran down the stairs. We could hear the noise. Very frightened, I called the front desk, but the attendant didn't believe me. I decided to go down and speak to her in person, but she didn't resolve the situation and asked me to wait for the manager, who wouldn't be on duty until 9:30 a.m. My wife and I packed our bags and left the room to wait in the breakfast area. Later, the manager moved us to another room and apologized for the incident. We stayed another night and then left. I wonder how someone opened our bedroom door, since it has a key card mechanism? I just received my bill by email, and they charged me the full amount without commenting on the situation. This experience was traumatic.
