Everything about this hotel was great with the exception of handicap access from the parking deck. I had my mom in a wheelchair; trying to get her in the door then in a small hallway with another small door entrance was very difficult to maneuver by myself. It would be great to have automatic doors to get in at all levels. Otherwise the room was beautiful and comfortable.

We have stayed at the Island Vista resort multiple times and we will continue to go back there as the rooms/suites are always nice with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, comfortable seating in the living area, ample items in the kitchen to make meals, well kept balconies offering beautiful views and great seating, and large dining tables inside. The lobby and hallways are always nice and clean. The pool areas indoors and outdoors is wonderful and always well kept. The lounging area outdoors is always beautiful and neat. The Island Vista resort has everything we would ever want in a hotel at the beach. We love the beach area as well. This resort is and will continue to be our destination almost every Thanksgiving holiday.
