I liked that there was an indoor pool and large hot tub also it was right on the beach. The hotel room itself was disgusting. The carpet was dirty. We wore our sandals inside the entire time. There was a mildew odor. We had to go to the store and buy air freshenerMy husband found a drug kit under our mattress. The kit contained needles and what appeared to be fentanyl pills. We turned it over to the desk clerk who didn't seem too bothered by the finding. Loads of people in and out from the streets using the pool and taking up all the parking spaces. We were one street down from the shooting that took place Saturday night that injured 11 people on the strip leaving the shooter dead by police officers. We will never stay in South Myrtle again or even visit for a day trip for that matter.

No frills motel

For a beach hotel it was ok….No frills great if you have kids and want an indoor pool which is a really good size. The bathroom needs updating and the bathroom sink was backed up but they did have maintenance there immediately for me the floors needed to definitely be swept better and mopped but all in all my grandson was happy with the pool and only a half mile from the amusement park

Check in/check out was a lengthy, difficult process. Room was not available until about 6 pm with a 4 pm check in. Best things... ocean view, AC worked, very hot water. Parking is difficult, floor was filthy.

This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed at. Check in staff were nice enough, but when we got to the room, we found the balcony door not locked because it was unable to close all the way. HUGE security concern. And not a thing was done about it. 😡
