Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was not a good experience. From the moment we walked into the room, we noticed a strong, musty smell that never went away. The room felt damp, and there were clear signs of moisture and even some mold on the walls and ceiling. It didn’t feel clean or well-maintained. The air conditioning was barely working — it made noise but didn’t cool the room properly, which was a big problem given the heat and humidity. We couldn’t sleep well because the room was hot and stuffy and stinky. On top of that, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floor was dirty, the bathroom had hair and stains, and the sheets didn’t feel fresh. It seemed like no real effort was made to prepare the room for guests. When we arrived,the lady at the front desk was not friendly at all. We expected much better for the price. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, and we definitely won’t be coming back.

Everything was okay except the room smelled really bad and the carpet was wet. I think they may have just gotten done spraying for bugs or something. I bought a couple of odor absorbers and left the window open to help lessen the smells

The staff was very friendly. The facility is a bit older. There is a musty smell in the room and mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom of our room. I wouldnt recommend for people with breathing issues.

The property was well lit, very safe, and a very nice area. Bed are uncomfortable. And the toliets do not flush right. Rooms are damp. Its and older hotel but it waa extremely clean.

The Hilltop was an okay stay. It wasnt bad rooms for the price in this area. If you used a booking service. I would not pay full price for these rooms. It was very clean, and most of the staff was friendly. The rooms were older and beds were not the most comfortable. The door on one of rooms dodnt work well. Keep in mind when staying here the rooms are damp. Everything felt moist. The first room we rented had a very bad mildew smell in. The ceiling looked liked it had a few soft spots in it. When I went to the clerk he offered some spray to cover up the smell. When I said it wasnt going to cut it. They gave me a differnt room. The deluxe continental breakfast is a bit of a stretch. It was waffles, stale breads/pastries, and cereals. The area was extremely safe, clean and quite. I woud consider saying here again for the discounted price.

The rooms were completely run down and smelled really bad. We ended up changing hotels. The place was gross for over $200/night. Should’ve been $75-100/night at most!

Good nights sleep BUT...

We checked in easily and got a good night sleep. In the morning, we discovered that the WiFi doesn't work in our room and our cell service was weak. We were disappointed with the breakfast - no eggs or meat. Apples were the only fruit available. There were several people waiting in line to make waffles.
