Secluded, rustic, yet easy to access... it has all the modern conveniences. Private access to a mile of North Box Elder Creek. Trout Fishing, Off-Road Trails, Snowmobile Trails, Horseback Riding, Golf, Hiking all within minutes of this new log home. Seasonal hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, outdoor grill, and much more!

An incredibly scenic half-hour drive from skiing in Lead, Deadwood gaming, Sturgis, Custer Peak. Less than an hour from Mt. Rushmore, Terry Peak, Custer State Park. Wild deer, elk, and turkeys live in the woods surrounding the cabin. Walk from the yard right onto National Forest Service land for a true wilderness hike. You won't believe how wonderfully quiet the nights are... and how many stars the night sky holds!

Positives: Our family really enjoyed the location of Diamond Dale. It was centrally located to all the tourist locations we visited. We all enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the fields and around the area. Daily walks were a pleasure.Negatives: The coffee machines were slow to brew. 1 hour 15 minutes to brew, we cleaned the coffee machine with water & vinegar, brewed in 15 minutes.Prepare for dead moths... and live moths.Clothes washer would benefits from a cleaning service.Hot tub had .... brown water & slime. Manager was very responsive and got someone out right away. We didn't feel we should have made that request. Service the hot tub between guest groups.

We had a great time house was nice, hot tub was a huge plus everyone had their own rooms. We even used the fire place on the cold evenings. My brother wasn’t able to park his camper in the driveway because of the rain but he found a campground near by so no biggy.

Perfect Nemo UTV Riding Location!

This is our second stay at this cabin and we love the location for UTV riding in the Nemo area! The cabin is roomy and kitchen is well-appointed for cooking meals and having dinner together at the large dining table. The hot tub is great to soak in after a long day of riding. The back deck is large, private, and peaceful. We have already booked a return trip later this summer with friends. Highly recommend this cabin rental!

Great location

Good older cabin. I would mention there are lots of steps and the grass outside grows wild, so not great for yard activities. Other than that, good place, lots of space, AC worked well. Was easy to find and for being away from towns, its an easy drive to all the attractions in many different locations.

My 2nd time staying at the cabin

It is a beautiful cabin. This time I came back with my sisters. The location was close enough to everywhere we wanted to go but in a very quiet & relaxing spot. Glad there was Wi-Fi in the cabin since Verizon cell service is spotty. Hot tub was awesome too. We all enjoyed our time there!

The home is beautiful had everything we needed and more. The area is fabulous and right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and everything we wanted to do owners were so nice very helpful. It was a great vacation our whole group enjoyed it.

Perfect Black Hills Getaway

Spent a long weekend with family (15) at Diamond Dale and was more than satisfied with all of the amenities that it provided. Was a great and somewhat secluded location. Everyone had a great time!

Beautiful Cabin and Location

There was a lot to love about this property. The kitchen was stocked and we made lots of meals there. There is also a nice deck with a hot tub. We did have trouble navigating the controls on the hot tube despite lots of "helps". (hand written instructions) There were a few places that I wish had substantial hand rails, going to the basement for one. The beds on the main and loft area were uncomfortable for me and my niece. We prefer a little give and softness so this may be a preference thing. I took to the couch and that did the trick for me. Overall this was a wonderful house and I would go again if we vacation again. I might mention that there were lots of chores and cleaning duties one had to preform in order to get deposit back. I was confused because the was also a cleaning fee. I wasn't a fan of cleaning so much when vacationing.
