It was Hampton “ Ghetto “ Inn

phone didn’t work during my 3 day stay - shower & tub wasn’t available first day & most of second day / broken handle, 3 requests & not fixed it after repeated promises - hot tub & pool were the filthiest I’ve ever seen- light out in room - spider imbedded in caulk on tub - constant pounding from construction work near our room / TOTAL DISASTER!!!

Only one complaint and its no fault of the hotel, but the SH 46 and IH-35 where the hotel is located is a traffic nightmare. Nice property otherwise

The hotel is renovating seceral rooms. There were no black out shades in my room & 1st nite I was awake almost all might by parking lot lights. I ask at breakfast about it...they upgraded my room & let me check it out before I moved in. They apologized for the room the inconvenience.

I liked that this property was close to Gruene Historic events. The hotel was under renovation, the bathroom was dirty ands the beds were not comfortable at all and the linen smelled strongly of bleach. A lot of noise in the hallways as well as in the room next to ours.

I found it interesting. We came in probably around 5:30 PM and the desk person was sitting in the back in a chair in full view. Not at all unprofessional or uncaring, I just found it funny. Of course they could’ve been sitting in the back room because there was colder air blowing in through the front door. Check-in was fine no problems.
