Very close to the San Marcos Mall and other popular attractions. The tile in the bathroom was loose, and the carpet smelled musty when entering the room.

They have Texas shaped waffles to start your day. You get Texas waffles in Texas. Gets no better. If you're staying in San Marcos and like Texas waffles and a clean hotel this place is for you. Front desk super friendly.

Place okay I was just disappointed that they did not have the room I had reserved. I had reserved and paid for a two queen room and they told me they ran out of those rooms. I had paid a bit extra for a 2 queen room. Not sure where the mix up was?

Book the holiday inn across the street.

Online I booked a larger room with a pullout for my son. When we arrived they said I just had a regular room with no pullout. Then said they don’t even have a pullout room in this hotel which I know was a lie. Then they have a hard 10 o’clock close pool rule with no alcohol at the pool. So if you’re coming to relax. Chill out while your family shops. Go to holiday inn across the street. We stayed there a month ago. Was much better and kids had more fun. Property was clean, safe, and breakfast was good. Just boring which is not what you want or need for kids.

Ok stay

The Room was clean but they didn’t clean my room the next morning. The walls are very thin and can hear a baby crying next door. The little fridge hummed really loud. The phone was unplugged and when I plugged it, it didn’t work when it was plugged, The breakfast was excellent.

Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but upon arrival, our room was not ready. The front desk associate was neither welcoming nor friendly, and when I asked how long it would take, she simply said, “a few minutes.” I waited patiently, but after 15 minutes had passed, the room was still not ready. The lack of courtesy and clear communication made for a disappointing first impression.
