We were not aware that there was a parking fee, not a big deal, but it would be nice to know in advance. IT is not clear in the Expedia site. Moreover, the room/bathroom is outdated and breakfast options were disappointing. The mattress was awful. The only good thing was the staff, all very helpful and friendly. It was not super cheap to be this disappointing but it is what it is. Lesson learned.

I had the best person at check in. She gave me directions of a place I could go see a refinery. Which was a unique request. She even called someone that she knew that could help. The room was awesome. The bed was comfortable the heat and the air conditioning worked beautifully. Everything was very neat and clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

This property is nothing to brag about but with the key cash making the room less than 100 bucks very much worth it! Bed was comfortable room was clean and staff was pleasant. Like that there is a chili’s in the parking lot and if you leave late enough in the am there is Starbucks and Dutch in the parking lot also. We left to early for breakfast so I can’t speak to that. The water pressure is awesome for a hotel and it’s HOT! Worth the money for sure!

Seguin stay

I requested a step in shower room for my mom who is on a walker. I was given room 135. When attempting to use the pullout sofa bed, it was found to be stained as if it had been used in and NCIS murder movie. I was moved to room 214, across the hall from an elevator. One of the bathroom lights out, the fan was so noisy in the bathroom that it woke up my mom when I attempted to use it during the night. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that it was like sleeping on spring and not a mattress. I have stayed at many Marriott properties, I find this to have been the worst. I must command the staff who made every effort to try and make things right by first finding me another room and then adjusting my bill. I would hope that someone from the corporate office would inspect this hotel and bring it up to par.

Staff was friendly. Our room lacked the usual Marriott charm. Our fridge was loud, and moved when you tried to open it. Light flashing on the air conditioner. Bed not as comfy as we remembered.
