Indulge yourself and your loved ones with a getaway to this beautiful, luxurious home in the Grand Beach community of New Buffalo, which sits just 350 feet from a private association beach on Lake Michigan. This retreat with a loft is perched on a lush piece of property that features a private hot tub, its very own sauna, and a large, built-in outdoor fireplace where you can truly escape and let your stresses melt away. You're also just 350 feet away from Sunset Beach, the beach private to the neighborhood.

The first floor features gorgeous hardwood running throughout and a mostly open floor plan, aside from a small reading nook near the entryway. The kitchen is outfitted with every necessity and then some, including granite countertops and a spacious island. The area flows naturally into an amply furnished living room, which can open up and extend out onto a large screened porch with similarly indulgent furnishings. After a brief climb up the regal staircase that centers the room, you'll come to an expansive main bedroom on the left wing of the second floor. With a small lounge area, a private ensuite bath, and a walk-out porch, this space provides the height of luxury. On the right are another two bedrooms, as well as a bunk room and a large bath. On the top floor, fun and relaxation is the name of the game: a full-size Ping-Pong table frames the space, with another bedroom and a small kitchenette on either side.

Whether you find yourself sunbathing in the garden, stepping into the sauna, or curling up on the porch with a good book, you truly couldn’t find a better spot to get away from it all.

I rented this place for a family get together and I was somewhat disappointed when we arrived to the property. Pros: tons of space, outdoor patio, hot tub and sauna. Cons: upon arrivals the place smelled like mildew, indoor patio furniture was dirty with bird droppings, golf cart wasn’t working, indoor kitchen furniture was very worn, empty glass bottles were left in the laundry room. I spent the first half of my day airing out the property, cleaning the house and sweeping the patio area. More importantly, i contacted the property manager and it took them 2 days to send someone out to fix all of concerns. Customer service is poor which made what should have been a relaxing weekend not very pleasant

Our stay at the Eagle's Nest managed by Vacasa had both highs and lows. On the positive side, the house was clean and comfortable, although the furniture was a little worn down in the living room. Additionally, the beach was a very short walk, and easily accessible for all members of our family. The golf cart was very helpful to have as well, making getting all of our things to and from the beach easy. The kitchen was not supplied well with basic items needed for daily use. This includes measuring cups, food storage, and a coffee pot. Overall the kitchen is very nice. Finally, and most significantly, the first floor (main) bathroom toilet never worked throughout our entire stay. It would not flush. In a house with 9 adults and 2 children, a functioning first floor toilet is essential. We contacted Vacasa right away, but they were not able to get someone out to look at it for 2 days. Even then, the issue was not resolved due to an unforeseen plumbing issue. We started to notice an odor, and when help arrived again (after 2 more days), we were told not to flush the toilets and that someone would be out first thing the next morning to fix the pipes. After a night of 11 people using toilets that could not be flushed, help finally arrived around noon. At this point we were told that the septic tank was full and needed to be emptied. Unfortunately, we had to leave our vacation early as this was not a sustainable situation.I thought Vacasa did their best considering all.

Warning: do not stay at a property managed by Vacasa. Our reservation was cancelled on us just minutes prior to check-in time. We had already traveled 5 hours up to the house and purchased 300 in groceries and were offered no alternative arrangements by Vacasa, rendering us essentially homeless with no options of where to stay the night, and they wouldn't even fully refund us for the lost groceries or offer to fully cover an alternative booking (if there were one available). They offered to cover a small part of the overage for booking another place, if we could find one (they did not offer to find one for us, since none were available in their "network"), but again, this was no help to us, as there were no places available to check in at 4 pm on the day-of, so we not only ended up with nowhere to stay, but were out additional money on top of that. This is by far the worst customer service we've ever experienced. The reason for the cancellation was because of a septic issue, but it's clear given the photos attached that this house was not going to be ready for check in on the day of arrival. We should have been warned of the septic issue in advance and given additional time to make alternative arrangements. Overall a terrible experience, and we will not be booking a Vacasa-managed property ever again, given how badly we were treated. Steer clear.

Shady Spot in New Buffalo

Our stay at Eagles Nest included spaces, fun, and activities for all ages. The home had lots of space, the kids enjoyed the upstairs game room where they played a lot of pool and the screened in back porch that we had set up for arts and crafts. The rental was nice and clean, close to the beach… Although we never did find the shortcut to the beach that is mentioned. There was lots of shady area for the kids to play outside. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and of course the beautiful view from the hot tub! We spent a day at the New Buffalo public beach, and another day near Beverly Shores at the dunes, Kamil beach. We went bowling on a rainy day and heard no complaints, only cheering. Our final day there five of the grandkids (ages 6-13) went with two adults to Lake Arvesta Farms to have their own try at Wipeout, played all day and returned exhausted. Love the area! Some things I would like to add that made things even better would include, there was a great grill that was in wonderful condition that we used quite often. In the laundry room there were cabinets full of beach towels to be used and that made life a lot easier for us. We never did make it out for any bike rides but there were 4 adult bikes available and two paddle boards available.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Walked to the beach everyday, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Even on the rainy days the screened in porch was amazing to hang out.

Beautiful house

Property was everything we hoped for, beautiful and relaxing. Bedrooms were beautiful and roomy. Bathrooms were amazing. Used hottub and sauna daily with the porch and even had deer come visit. Neighborhood was hard to navigate, but the house was worth it. One other thing to note was that the exit instructions were different on the app compared to the laminate copy left on property so we were not sure what to follow.

Beautiful house!

This house was wonderful. We had 12 in our group and had more than enough room. The house is well equipped and located close to the beach. We’re already talking about booking the house again next year. Highly recommend!

Very clean, plenty of activities!

This home was a great place to gather our group of ten! The hot tub, sauna and outdoor fireplace were cozy for a chilly Memorial Day weekend. The backyard, driveway and ping pong table were great areas for kids to play. A golf cart provided an easy way to drive to the playground/park in the neighborhood. The Grand Beach golf course was a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. New Buffalo is an easy 5-10 minute drive for groceries or grabbing something to eat. The home was very clean and a fresh, locally made apple pie awaited us in the kitchen when we arrived!
