The room was outdating but good - the a/c worked but not enough to really cool the room down. We were in town for the weekend and it was a nice budget friendly hotel and it was just what we needed. My problem was with the staff- the younger girl working the front was always rude and short - You could tell she didn't want to be there and I had issues with my booking prior to arriving it didn't help the situation. Over all the property was very nice, The free break was good but lacking - it was the same basic offering all weekend.

The property was perfect for what I needed. The A/C was cold and the room was comfortable. I got a great deal and was very pleased with my stay. My only issue is the door, having a glass centered door instead of solid meant light from the parking lot peaked through the whole night, a little annoying but didn't prevent me from sleeping.

Cute place, wonderful stay!

We came to Murray to tour the university and choose to stay at the Murray inn. I felt like I was staying at my grandmother's house (I mean this in a good way). It felt so homey! The room was clean, quiet, with a touch of vintage. We LOVED it and will choose to stay there again!

Good was very quiet. Room was comfortable. Bad: Air conditioner did not work. Moved to a different room where it did work. TV however did not work. Breakfast was minimal. Recommend to skip and go down the street to Murray Donuts. (have breakfast sandwiches also)

It was mediocre at best. I would not say it’s nice or great, but livable. Everything felt like it was really used and really old, which makes sense for the hotels age. The room has a very old wood and wet dog mixed smell. Overall, doable for the price.

I have stayed here several times previously, but this visit was not pleasant. The floor was wet, we found a leak (even offered to fix the clearly evident problem), and it was very moldy smelling in the room; had an allergic reaction. When asked to change rooms, were told they were full, though 1/2 hr later one miraculously opened up. The next room wasn't much better, stale and musty also but with a/c running it helped. The bed frame was dirty (next to mattress in the crevices; like never been vacuumed.) The toilet will fall apart with a few more people sitting on it; moved every time you sat down. We were eventually offered a refund if we were not staying, lol, though not even a discount for the entire ordeal. Not fun; I will not stay here again.

This was our 5th stay here while our granddaughter was in college. The place has gradually gone downhill since our first time visiting. Our room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door knob was very hard to open once shut. The shower head had a crack in it and squirts water over the shower curtain. This will be our last visit to Murray Inn.
