Lots of restaurants in the area and things to do. The pool was open, but the water heater was broken when we stayed, and that was the main reason we booked this hotel :( we tried to go swimming still with the family, but it was way too cold. The slide looked very fun. Decent stay, worth the money. Breakfast is free and has your essentials, nothing fancy.

Hampton Inn-Shelton, CT

Our shower hot water was barely even medium and never hot at any time. The Pool was nice, but difficult to enjoy with the number of children splashing and yelling. Also, the woman in charge of ensuring everyone wore a wrist band did a good job, but was completely oblivious to those jumping in the pool from the edge, against hotel policy and dangerous.
