Absolutely spectacular

My stay was the definition of perfect there’s literally nothing I could complain about and I would stay there 1 million times again and it’s in the most perfect location. You could imagine at such a fair price.

This is my second time staying here and I love it! I will never go wrong staying at 6 Columbus Hotel, when in season there is a roof top bar served by Blue Ribbon Sushi (very good), a very cute hotel, across the street from The Shoppes at Columbus Circle (Wholefoods in the basement) the best bagels next door to hotel called Nosh Bagels and a very good bar with an excellent menu called All&Sundry —-all next door to this hotel! Central Park at the corner and lots of transportation options! Consider staying with them I will be back in the Spring for race season. Excellent staff! Don’t forget to leave a tip for your cleaning lady and the bellhop person who stores your baggage, this is a job for them and they are very helpful with city information. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

Very clean. The place was well located and the price compared to other hotels was good. I wish the closet door opened the other way so as not to get in the way of the bathroom doors. I also would’ve preferred some shelves in the closet and COFFEE in the lobby would’ve been such a nice thing. Starbucks is next door, but their drip machines were broken, so each morning it was nearly $15 for two coffees. Yes, coffee in the lobby or at the bar would be great.

Good; but could be better.

Our room was just what we expected for NYC. A bit small; but with 2 beds that were very comfortable and a fabulous shower. The only real negative was cleanliness. The linens seemed fine; but there was some sort of dried something on one of our decorative pillows (I don't need decorative pillows and definitely not dirty ones) and there was a thick layer of dust on sections of our side table. Overall a great location, a good hotel; but it does definitely need a cleaning upgrade.

Unfortunately when we arrived we were quite disappointed with the standard of this hotel. It looked different to the pictures, the hallways felt dark and dingy, the floors were not particularly clean and there was used glassware left on the floor in the hallway to our room. Even small things like wonky room signs were offputting. The room itself was quite small with limited storage. The room wasn't perfectly clean, for example with dust on the bedside tables. On a positive note, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had nice decor but it still felt very dark with an average sized mirror. The shower handle fell off when we tried to use it for the first time, but the water pressure was good. The walls are also quite thin as we could very clearly hear a family in a nearby room who were very loud with young children, it sounded like they were right behind the door. We would have likely happily stayed in the property for half the price, but our stay (although it was over the New Year period) was not cheap so we expected a lot more from it. Thankfully the receptionist was very kind and supportive and helped us with cancelling the remainder of our stay after 1 night when we moved hotels.

-found some old hair remaining on shower curtain -they provided an intimacy kit with 2022 expiration date on it -they charged me for vodka and other drinks i never had, and despite my 5 times followups, they did not returned my money! I don't feel safe about sharing my credit card with this hotel at all!!

A winner

Well designed small room and bath (love the heated floor). Clean and comfortable but if you want to spread out, be aware: room was small. Great staff and great location. Love the nice Bigelow products in the bath.
